Since it's been awhile that i've watched season 1, i totally didn't remember any of the scenes they showed in the netflix recap. This recap on the other hand, gave me a brief description of the events that happened in season 1 and now i'm totally ready to watch the second season.
Geralt didn’t wish to free the djinn- he used his last wish to bind him and Yenneffer’s fates together. The djinn was released because he’d used all his wishes. Yenn doesn’t dump him for not wanting a kid- she leaves when she discovers what his wish was because she thinks that means their relationship was never real - just a spell.
Though unspecified, I believe the wording of the third wish went something along the lines of "I don't wanna lose her", which at the time was meant to save her life but now makes them bump into each other a lot.
Funny thing is, in the books the dude he saves in the woods from zombies and in whose cart he is passed out. Well that dude also offers him a reward and Geralt invokes the law of suprise yet again, gues what he finds when he comes home? His wife who has taken in a war orphan who is Ciri. So Ciri is not just a suprise child she is a DOUBLE suprise child

The Geralt-Ciri relationship is DEFINITELY not romantic, nor is it meant to be. In fact, you should have picked up on it with Yennifer's baby rabies - they're setting up Geralt and Yennifer to be Ciri's adoptive parents.

She's supposed to be his adopted daughter, Geralt gets in a confusion between Trish and Yennefer as his true love, and ciri is wanted by the wild hunt to harness her power. Geralt kills the 3 generals of the wild hunt. Play games y'all, or read the books atleast

she was a great character... And unlike GOT, it's not like they gave us great new characters in almost every episodes. She stole the show on every second she was on screen. Might be good thing for the actress, if we think that, surely producers and directors will too.

I also like that you didn't ham it up like other recappers - they tend to make to act like buffoons and clowns, but you kept right to the plot. Consider me a subscriber!

In the games Ciri is like a daughter to him and is a witcher aswell. And there is some really epic stuff about her power, the Wild Hunt and said prophesy. I really hope they keep the show going like this. The books and the games are just amazing the the show has been too so far.

Love how the princess knows you must honour the law of suprise or else. But once she is queen she says nah, just like her mother. Guess apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
