- After a month of waiting for this build upon order premium car mats for my Volkswagen Polo V 6R from MTMshop, I can finally unbox this car improvement product that I am extremely excited to see how the customised colour I have chosen finally worked out!
The car carpet is made with tufted velvet or velours, which is a high quality synthetic material. I have selected the black colour to match my car while adding a grey trim or border to define the welcoming look as well as to match the accents in my vehicle.
While having the option to add a door sill made of rubber to your custom made car mat, I decided to add one to protect the driver area where there is most traffic while operating the car.
The italian car manufacturer has three collections, TOP, Plus and One. The model I have picked is under the Plus collection which other than enabling the customisation on the selected colours(usual black, grey and beige) and borders made with non slip cotton, it also allows you to emboider some text for an additional fee should you wish to.
In addition, I ordered their tailor fit boot liner made out of high resistant thermoplastic, advertised also to be able to withstand temperature fluctuations especially a hot car in summer, for the lower deck of my car boot too. Design wise, it features a ridged grid that will protect your boot compartment from minor spills.
If you are like me who wish to keep your car clean and tidy, these removable non-slip car mats are fairly easy to vacuum. The door sill or the boot liner can be wiped down with just a wet microfiber cloth and you're ready to go. In case of serious dirt and grim, you can remove the boot liner and spray it down with a hose for a more thorough cleaning.
