I'm pretty certain taking more poison damage is intended. It doesn't ignore resistance values to apply debuffs but it ignores resistance values to factor how much damage that element damage type does, so when you apply poison on yourself it's going to ignore your poison resistance and deal the maximum amount of damage per tick. It's also why it's still really strong for thunder build because although you're not applying thunder bane you're still dealing additional thunder damage with each attack
Hey boys, charge your bar, dodge backwards then tap Heavy attack. A closer range version will be dodging forward then tap heavy with a full bar. Cheers.
Hey man, by Damage Over Time I am specifically talking about DoT caused by Poison and Scorch. By Elemental Bonus Damage, it's the direct damage you're dealing. For example, after an enemy is inflicted with shock state, transformation's elemental damage and spirit's elemental damage.
@humbleDK thanks. last night while on my bed, i was thinking through your terms. as the only elemental build i had used was the poison build, naturally i thought all elemental build works the same way i.e. thunder (my current build) will damage the enemies over time. apparently, it turns out otherwise, poison and scorch once inflicted onto your enemies, your enemies will inccured Damages Over Time, due to the element being stuck onto the enemies. as for thunder, the elemental bonus damage will only works with spirit and transformation. and for frosts, the elemental effect is enemies frozen for 7 sec (additional immobilizer) and the elemental bonus damage comes on when the enemies come out of the frozen state. thanks for the additional explanation. this video reallys gave us an insight how the elemental mechanics work in the game.
Personal preference and situational tbh, falcon hermit is slow to freeze but it does damage with its tornado and you will still be able to freeze with your third cast. Bosses build up resistance and will resist getting frozen after the 2nd one. Apramana bat for example will stop freezing bosses the third time you cast it, you will then have to rebuild your Qi asap before the frost debuff build up runs out, to freeze the boss with your 4th Apramana bat skill cast.
There's no need to use hoarfrost in low health, I was just showcasing how strong hoarfrost can be against an enemy with frost elemental weakness if you have all the buffs. (being in low health procs yaksha mask's unique dmg+ buff).
Very very very detailed analysis of the elemental build! highly recommended!!
Best video about wukong build I've seen so far. Keep it up bro. New sub
Thanks for the sub!
be nice to have a load out saving options for quick equip
That’s what I keep saying. You should have entire load out options
Been saying the same thing since the first week out of the game!
Those look like some amazing builds. I am definitely going to try them out because im currently on ng+2
I was not expecting ng+2 to be so drastically more difficult than ng+
Oh thank goodness because I'm on NG+, on chapter 4 and NOT ONE ENEMY boss or not has managed to kill me. Kinda boring honestly.
@@VGSvalvegamerschweda that’s the same with me but dude once you get to Erlang he’s still tough af
@@guldniteon my first play through I beat him second try 😂
But just started ng+ so I’ll see how it goes
NG+10 makes sense. Mastered game already
I'm pretty certain taking more poison damage is intended.

Yea, make sense. but that description is just so wrong. "enemies", they should use the word "all" instead.
Great video bro! Keep it up!
Appreciate it! Thank you 🙏
1st! keep it up broski! #allday
Legend!
great work! thanks
Thank you! 😊
6:35 scaling stops after ng+6
👍👍👍🍻
What the heck was that red tides jump spinning attack!? 😮
I’m pretty sure you just hold down the heavy when the focus bar is up

Yup, just dodge followed quickly by a heavy...that attack is one of my go tos
Best intro I have seen
Thank you! 🙏
i got lost over DOT and elemental bonus damage. can you explain?

Yeap, you got it right! 👍 No worries. It's my pleasure!
why falcon hermit over apramana bat?
