Wonderful interview! Thank you Mr Gleeson for explaining the history of RICO and the Supreme Court decision that opened the gates to its use against organized crime.
Who was the informant who told Gleason that Gotti was talking upstairs in the apartment of the Raven night??? They never tell you that in all these years.
Where's the part were Gleeson "Praised ~Sammy the Bullsh!t~ for being a Real Gangster?" (This of course was allegedly said after Sammy's testimony) Sammy also said Gleeson talked about the John Gotti's tapes & how John said "let's put this all on Sammy!" So 😆🍿 lets get to it!!!
Gleeson, I think Gotti was a vile criminal, but dont present yourself as whiter than white or any of this was about justice...you did a deal with gravano a man and excused 19 murders he did including 16 year old school kid Alan Kaiser so you could get your conviction in a show trial and sell books off it. Are you donating the proceeds to Alan Kaiser's family? The deal was criminal and within a handful of years Gravano was setting up a drugs operation in Arizona he got 20 years for. Hope your proud. Sounds like you are. Gravano under your deal did 5 years for 19 murders. Well done you.
Yeah..he did it so he could write/sell a book 30 years in the future for which he MIGHT make $10k on ..if he's lucky. That guy takes down over $200k a year in salary...but he obtained a Gambino busting conviction just so he could make chump change 30 years in the future. lol. Have I got that right? Based on your evident powers of discernment as demonstrated above, you, the indispensable man would have undoubtedly landed Gotti, AND Gravano for the 19 murders for which the prosecutor had no actual evidentiary proof to convict him with, considering the govt. only found out about his responsibility for almost all of them from his "queen for a day" confession-for-testimony deal. It's just a shame you missed your calling. The judicial system could use a man like you.
You don't seem to understand how many other murderers were convicted and locked away, which means they weren't free to commit more crimes and murders. It's not a pretty job, but it did interrupt and prevent a lot of criminal activity
Best mob podcast I have ever heard.
