I remember doing this ride from Brighton and Allston every day back in the 00’s and early 10’s on my slightly too large orange bianchi. Not superbike friendly but Boston is more than navigable to a skilled and alert cyclist and it’s mostly getting better recently. Would definitely have loved electric assist every now and then - Keep riding!
A Class I e-bike has a top speed of 20 mph and the moter only kicks in when you pedal. A Class II e-bike has a throttle that goes up to 20 mph without pedaling and assists you to reach up to 28 mph if you pedal. The bike I have is a Class II.

Sometimes you break the law because following it puts you at far more danger, or because the law defies common sense. The red light. Look carefully, it's a three way intersection with traffic coming from the left. The bike lane at the far right goes straight. No lanes cross the bike lane, so the bike lane effectively has no intersection. Sure, technically illegal, but it's perfectly safe to do there. And probably safer than stopping in the middle of the road to become someone's speed bump Blind adherence to the law puts you in a lot of danger at intersections - right hooks, left crosses, rear endings, and side swipes can all frequently be avoided by taking advantage of moments when cars aren't yet moving to get out in front, be seen, and get out of the way of these hazards. Safe does not necessarily mean legal and legal does not necessarily mean safe.
What is the level of bicycle traffic in foreign countries? In Korea, cars are parked everywhere you go, which is inconvenient. Please refer to this when you travel to Korea in the future.

I love that you do this but please obey traffic laws it may save your life! I saw at least two traffic violation including runnning a red light.
