I actually completely agree. There was no way that it should've turned out well for either of them if they actually stuck to the heart of the matter, but Andrew actually did. "cheating" by using garlic, when you can justify that better as a seasoning ingredient for a burger patty. Can't justify using literal pre-prepped pizza dough though. With all of Nick's pre-prepping, I feel like he also doesn't match Mr. Krab's on-the-spot impromptu nature of mashing ingredients together into a pizza the way Andrew more closely captured it.

Deep dish really wasn't edible (with the raw beef still) While the other technically was edible, pizza dough isn't used in a burger, nor does a traditional burger use MSG.

I honestly think that made a huge difference. Babish tried to mask the horrible dough in a deep dish. The crust is definitely the hardest part.
And using tomatoes meant for sauce instead of using ones youd put on a burger.
