Thanks for making this! Audio frequently cuts for me when playing the game. like some voice lines are straight up missing. so when sylens said something that looked interesting i had to know!
yeah, idk if I necessarily believe "trust is for fools" is a good way operate in the world generally (family, friends, professionally). but "mutual self interest" does seem like a better foundation for a partnership towards a goal you share. @@thegarlicbread4422
Great. But there are 2 scenes missing that should have been placed before the first scene of your video. When Aloy gets closer to Brunante, Sylens intervenes twice to warn her. These are optional scenes, but you should know that they exist.
I hated the whole horizon game after burning shores came out and deleted the game for good. But I continued and still watching Sylens scenes cuz Lance Reddick was Legendary. RIP.

@@El-Morshed Are you talking about the Aloy-Seyka romance? If so i really don't think they made Aloy gay/bi out of nowhere or to please the LGBT+ community (as you say it's a small number of people and this is a next gen only DLC that many won't even play, so if this was done for social brownie points it's been done pretty terribly). She never showed any real interest in male characters in ZD, in fact she actively tried to discourage their interest in her so this really didn't strike me as some drastic change in character for Aloy, plus she may well be Bi as we've not seen her express a lack of interest in men or exclusive interest in women etc. Furthermore, is there any evidence that this was done to push an agenda or to appeal to/appease the progressive and LGBT+ community? Sometimes there isn't an agenda at work and a writing choice is just a writing choice. To assume otherwise without evidence feels silly. Also some twitter intern blocking you is hardly a reason to hate the game. You may not like that individual or that social media team, but that should have no real relevance to your enjoyment of the games.
Sylens was one of my favorite all-time video game characters, voiced to perfection by Lance. Such a talent. Such a loss.
Lance Reddick just passed away today....😢
Scattered to the void like the alphas themselves

Sylens put it exactly right: "What's the whole of human knowledge next to the origins of one girl?"
Origins of the girl who is burden to save the planet
Yeah,so.

That's not true, you're Aloy, you're you! you forged your own tree!

21:48 just a note for myself, nothing interesting here
This is literally one of the only lines that I remember from this game, I always found it particularly interesting.

Soooooooooooo if you think you can do a better job do it
@@gameexpert133 It's already done.

How come? Burnish shores was kind of mid sure but ultimately inoffensive and didn’t do anything to ruin the prior games imo
