This is the most wonderful thing I have ever seen made on TH-cam!! I have a fireplace but no mantle - I'm going to attempt to use some of your ideas to try and create my mantle. I collect oddities and bones so I kinda have a poor man's Addams Family aesthetic going on. This is absolutely perfect!

What an AMAZING piece!! This turned out sooo Awesome. I absolutely love love love it! I think the claw feet on the bottom make look like the Gargoyle’s feet. I’ve never seen someone do a plaster head mold and attach it to furniture before... what a brilliant idea, and the feathers look amazing! I’m literally blown away with this creation ... Amazing job!! a friendly FYI...Adding white glue/PVA Glue to the plaster of Paris would add strength to anything you are casting like your gargoyle also a wire armature so your project will last.
