At an office in NYC chewing on dry chicken breast right now, thanks to you I've got to imagine myself wandering the motherland eating heavenly food... Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the video and reciews on places you tried. Not sure if anyone has mentioned already, but the first place serves banh canh bot gao, which uses more rice flour, whereas the second place is banh canh bot loc, which has more tapioca. Can't wait to check out the first place when we visit Vietnam in summer. First place as they also serve BBH, which is my favorite noodle soup
My mum used to sell chuối xào dừa and the name is very misleading. It doesn’t involve any stir frying 😅. The banana is boiled and served with thickened coconut milk which had sago in it, and topped with roasted peanut. It was my favourite Vietnamese dessert but since moving to Australia, I don’t see anyone selling and my mum doesn’t make it anymore :(
omg you can eat so much. I appreciate about your video, when you like my traditional Vietnam food. and this is a interesting video about street food in Viet Nam
Ban Canh Cua is my favorite soup based dish in Vietnam hands down... Its been 4 years since i last ate here... going stuff myself silly next week when i go to Saigon.
you're the man!!! love these videos...I loved visiting vietnam! Been cooking up a lot of the stuff from you!! id love if you could make one on, BO LA LOT (phonetically spelled) beef wrapped in grape leaves.
Cái đó không phải chuối xào dừa, món bạn tìm là chuối ngào đường thì đúng hơn chuối dẻo ngào với đường thành màu vàng sẫm có kèm cơm dừa và mè hiếm ai bán lắm😂
so 57K for a small bowl of noodle, an average worker in Viet nam works for a full day for about 200K (there's even lower earnings). So you can only buy about *3-4 bowl of noodle* with a full day's salary as an average worker. I thought Viet nam always brag themself that their economy has been growing at skyrocketing and they even try to compare themself to Singapore, Thailand, Korea and Japan, WHAT
I hate it when they over charge, that small bowl cost about 30K max, not 57K, so ask the price before sitting down. It's not about that much of a difference but it's about, she rips you off.
it’s depends. Around district one, foods maybe a bit more expensive. Besides, the bowl was full of topping, crab meat and all. He knows Vietnamese, and he got a recording camera. It would be a bad advertisement move if she overcharged him.
Too much effort and not enough money to put Vietnamese title. His video are not intended for Vietnamese viewers. TH-cam paid very low for views from Vietnam
@@vodanh9274 I think he needs attract some viewers first and vietnamese love to learn English so having vietnamese subtitle is perfect way to attract more viewers. Chad is a lovely guy, wish him more success. 😊

Ive never had green tea before - somewhere around 6:40
it tastes relatively normal - 6:48 when tasting said green tea
They might add pandan (lá dứa) in the tea. That made it green. 8:09

i think you should add VN subtitles so that Vietnamese people can understand
