Our park fields are shared. The kids and teachers don’t mind if we fly drones, planes or helicopters near the kids but we certainly do so we do our best to give kids the priority and avoid them. Except, humans are unpredictable and move anywhere at random (break off from the herd) so we are always on the lookout and keep each other informed of the location of the junior humans.

This whoop sounds like a lot of fun! It's interesting that it can fly both indoors and outdoors. The fact that it's under 250g and relatively quiet is a big plus. The warranty on the canopy/frame is a nice perk too. I'm curious to see how the image quality is on the Insta360 GO camera mounted on the bottom. Overall, this seems like a great little quad for anyone looking for a powerful and portable option. Thanks for the review!
Next time you demo "Acro" can you do a flip and roll each direction? and a dive? without that example it's really hard to imagine how it'll pull out of maneuvers.

Do you think the extra money for this drone is worth it? I was also worried that setting up the drone would be a learning curve. Are they equally as hard to set up? Each use Betaflight?

That sounds like ALTITUDE HOLD. You can purchase plenty of beginner ready to fly kits that are FPV with Goggles and have Altitude Hold, all designed for easy flights. Watch my VIDEO entitled the BEST FPV DRONE KITS under $200. Or watch the one entitled THE BEST FPV DRONE KITS under $300.
In Canada, everything, and I mean everything that is unmanned and remotely controlled all fall under the same regs which is… if 250 grams or more everything applies.
The strap is designed for small size batteries and the batteries I used were slightly larger so I simply STUCK them in place with a strip of ALIEN TAPE (remains rubbery and sticky).

For example I can fly Air75 indoor/outdoor (also in windy situations) without being annoying to other people. If there are no people I go with 2s toothpick. If I want HD and small size then 2s cinewhoop is the right choice. I fly my 2s whoops sometimes so they don't collect too much dust. So I fly 1s and 2s drones of different types 4 years and just can't imagine 2s whoop are extremely popular. Is there any statistic available? Asking for a friend 😜

Very quiet because it weighs very little & has tiny props. The school kids scared Tractor Man off!

It is extremely popular so you are in the minority! However if you are in an indoor Race League, then it is too large & powerful and not permitted.
