When I was a newb I had no clue how weight made a MAJOR difference in flight characteristics on whoops"and some bigger quads" I was naive and tried heavier batteries and even different props and when I say I was completely blown away with how much better they fly with as less weight as possible that really made me a better pilot and gave me a better understanding of the hobby....1example I switched my mob7 from ph2 to a30 connectors and was too lazy to desolder the wires on the board so I cut and tapped into them and did the same on my lipos having that extra wire added weight not much in my eyes I thought but definitely in the mob7s eyes 🤣 and it flew like crap so I "redid" everything and it was like night and day I now respect the weight limits on quads and try to keep all of them on a diet 😂 PS I learned ALOT watching your channel man guys like you really make the hobby less stressful for beginners and make them stay in it👍🏼
I feel everybody talks about what is what like this model is best because the motor spins slightly more faster or the flight time is slight longer but what really matter is skill we’re at a point where they are all pretty close
great comparison! you normally don't have a chance to try whoops one by one and it's great to hear first impressions from people who are not "pro" racers
Love my analog mobula 6 2024, that I got a month ago as my first tiny whoop. There were some tweeks in BetaFPV to work out, but it only took me a little less then a hour, and i've had no issue. It's been pretty durable too.
Great insight. Good advice I needed to see different pilots take on the different experiences they had with these models. looking at changing from analogue to digital. Thanks for the knowledge!
I think the best choice would getting the racing air65 and setting a throttle limit of 80-85% in betaflight can tone it down for indoors, but then you still got full power for outdoors
Beta fpv has provided the best tuned 65 I’ve purchased. I’m still struggling to get the mobula bound, but that’s a me issue as I seem to always have a difficulty binding.
Nice comparison video Jack. This was really good for those that wanna make a choice . 👍 I love my betafpv 65 mm for now. Wish we had something with DJI on the se whoops
Awesome. Now please for 75mm whoops too. Just got my betafpv air 65 race and love it so much. It's just so small, light, fast and nimble. My fractal75 build is a little faster and has kinda more hangtime doing freestyle. Also can fly longer. But you got to tame it down for inside.😅
@@HalfChrome sure you only compare BNF. Only three 75mm bnf I can think of is mobula7 1S , betafpv air75 and hglrc petrel75. Always just listing the latest. Not sure if NBD ever ever had a 75mm or just the cockroach frame
@0Ciju0 the 75 is bigger and faster. Check out my video here. Air75 by BetaFPV | Is this the BEST Tiny Whoop Drone? th-cam.com/video/9ifOGm3FvBU/w-d-xo.html
Loving your vids! I’m also interested in a 75 & 85 vid! I’m also keen to build a whoop from components with my son. Any recommendations on components, or maybe that could be a build video. Lastttt thing, Walksnail seems to be the most cost effective HD option with the new goggles. Maybe some options with their platform. LOVE YOUR VIDS!
I just got into drones and this is truly interesting to me. I have the vrdrone and it seems so hard to fly. Falls out of the sky when I try to yaw left or right. Very hard to get it to hover. Maybe it's just cause I'm a n00b. But I was hoping the mobula would be better performance. This guy says they felt the same. Does that mean, don't get a mob 6? And just keep flying my vrdrone til I get the hang of it? Lol
@Braincho 040 are excellent. You could buy a VRX for digital also. Or if you know what digital you want go for it. Whoops like these will be analog or HDZ for the foreseeable future.
The Air 65 will be my first drone, I read there is no ELRS receiver, should I buy it separately? (and how to mount it?) I also need goggles and the radio transmitter, will the VR02 + lite radio 2 from BETAFPV be enough or should I buy the VR03 + lite radio 3? Thanks 🙏🏻
The air 65 does already have one mounted. Its just not part of the AIO board. For radio and headset you’re much better off with a radiomaster pocket + eachine ev800d

hell yeah mob 6

Me too. But it’s got to get smaller
Good stuff. This will be a good video to reference for the new pilots in Tyrantt FPV bootcamp.
The PCB on the sensor of the c03 camera always makes me giggle. I fixed mine with tape on meteor 75p
Great video and i have they e6000 glue and it's great but I never put it in the ufl to hold the antena that's a good idea thank you.

I think the AIR 65 would be the best. But Chris is also a damn good pilot, so they were all good.
Whats the main difference between the air65 and the air75 in terms of real life performance?

great vid, detailed
Thanks. Hopefully it helps some people out
I haven't flown my whoops in over two years. i have the Spektrum radios. am I out of luck with the new whoops ?
You could add a receiver to the drone or a module to the radio.

Anything that flies to me is the best...LOL
I like whoop style, be it a legit whoop of not, and if it flies it is the best in my book at that time

I've had bad luck with mobula 8 always stops working after couple months
Just curious but they have to have any kind of WiFi for the cameras? Never owned one so idk.
Nope. It’s a separate signal picked up by the goggles
New to this, can we convert mini whoops from SPI, they say SPI is going away. How complicated would it be to change?
You can update betaflight firmware to update ELRS.
Which one of these can bind to Spektrum radio?
Natively? Zero. You’d either need to add a receiver to the drone or a module to the radio.
Nice review-comparison!
What analog goggles and antennas you use?
I use the HDZero goggles with a speedybee receiver.
@@HalfChrome what were those red goggles I saw in the video?
Skyzone 03 I think. Fantastic also.
@@HalfChrome What would you say about sky04o pro?(as an upgrade of my EV800D) Is it worth it or better go straight to digital, Walksnail lets say.

Can I fly any of these with my geprc tinygo box goggles?
Yes. All analog
surely you can just stick some blutack on your whoop if you find it too nippy... right?
Sure

Air65 🗑️ 🚮
Why

@@ginupe32 okay but why is it trade
@ motor failed within a week of usage & ESC failed shortly thereafter.
