Great video and review! Thanks! My wife bought me the same boat a few years ago. I took it to our vacation spot in NH without doing any mods. It worked but didn't improve my bad back. I, like you, looked around on TH-cam at what others had done and copied some of their ideas. I now have a better, more comfortable 'boat' to fish from. I didn't use it much the last couple of years and just yesterday took mine out on the lake. IT WAS WINDY!!! Needless to say, I also own a "baloon on water" and will need to work on rectifying that issue. I like your "fin" idea...I may play around with that. Thanks again and enjoy your Colorado baloon boat...and catch some big ones!
Thanks for the kind words. I think the best part is making it your own (customise)adding your own personal touches. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thanks for the video. I just got one as a gift and have added the deck and raised pedestal. Mine didn’t come with a wheel and their site doesn’t have one in stock so making something up. Like what you said about wind and will also look at making a fin. People like yourself have posted nice videos about upgrades so thank you!
@randyashford4073 Thank you, I love mine, it has grown on me. The best part is being able to go place's other boats can't but also having a little more stable platform than a kayak. Thanks for watching.
If you just want a quick in the water and start paddling experience, then a kayak is a better choice. This pontoon requires just a little bit more time for setup. It is also a little bit more bulky in the water. Thanks for watching.

Macy’s enthusiasm stole the show.
She's good for that, thanks for watching.
If you’re just wanting to paddle, would you recommend this or a kayak? I know you can just throw the kayak in the water and take off
