That Fallout Shelter poi has the exact identical layout to Fallout 3's Vault 101. I've played it so many times I was screaming at the screen "No! Go left! Then right! Straight on!!!"
YEP. I recognized it right off. Nice homage, I really appreciate little (or, um, huge) easter-eggs like this from fellow gamers. Well done, Fizzlewitz!
I love how you addressed the fact someone said "what's the deal with cornmeal?" made fun of it and then never addressed what the deal with corn meal is. 😂 Edit: for the record I also thought the joke comparing it to a Seinfeld bit was hilarious.
I mean he's explained before its because the loot gives you 1 piece of cornmeal. Can't even make cornbread with that so he got mad and started chucking it.
Yeah, but that's the in joke. If you watch a some of his videos, you'll get it pretty quick. And then you're on the inside of the community. Like when the community decided to name his horse Cornmeal. I was shocked, shocked I tell you, when the horse developed a broken leg and had to be put down.
@@user-jg6bd7se8u LOL. break is still an English word. correct, but I think grammar is what you were trying to point out. but yes, I did type the wrong word. thanks for the spelling and grammar lesson. Ill correct it just for you.
Honestly the stronger guns isn't even a problem, feels right. The main reason I'd say this didn't reflect proper endgame anywho is cause the loot pool was technically bloated (balanced) by Izzy gunpack. In Vanilla you can bet you're gonna find a ton of iron tier and even pipe tier no matter when. Just makes up way too much of the loot pool.
It does make sense that the teir 6 jobs would have a ton of resources... no one else has been able to raid the locations before you, so they just stockpile it all.
I think the hardest challenge for glock would not be a weapon only or no trader type. No it would be a challenge were he has to take every single piece of corn meal he finds, and then he has to say something nice about corn meal.
Not sure if it's possible, but a interesting take on this super soldier would be to remove skill levels. Like randomly pick one or two skills to reset to none. Would have to adapt depending on what skills are reset, and would make it progressively harder as time went on. Could also add in that each time going to a new area, the loot drop rate also goes down.
Glock I love the content on 7daystodie. I would hate to see you play games like ark. I'm only one fan, but I literally watch your content every day. Either from father glock to apocalypse. I stay up to time on new series but also love to watch your old stuff at the same time.. please don't stop making 7days content.
Idea for a series: The man with the golden gun. You start at level 1 and cannot spend any skill points. You can only equip a level 1 primitive hood with a helmet light mod. You get a Dev gun though. Goal is to progress through all trader tiers without dying, all settings can be default, difficulty your choice.
As I mentioned before, try the Rebirth mod. You are constantly short of ammo and you basically don't get the insane weapons drops. I'm not sure how you'd feel about doing the class grind is the only thing...but I've found the mod to be a lot of fun and challenging, whether playing the Purge or just the regular mod. The weapons are pretty cool as well. They are every bit as good as the gun mod you are using.
I've heard it's pretty grindy and boring. I like the arcade feel of vanilla and not a huge fan of overhaul mods that take that feeling away by trying to be too realistic. I'll probably give it a look at some point though to see for myself what it's like.
@@Glock9 It is a big grindy for the classes. You essentially have to fight with the main weapons of your class...say a club and a shotgun...to skill them up. You don't find very many weapons, and they are low-level. You don't find much ammo. But it's a hell of a lot of fun. Maybe try it out in your copious spare time :p and see what you think and if it would make a good series.
there comes a time in this game when I no longer care about taking out zombies, but instead enjoy the world - exploring and discovering. hence, i see no point in having zombies get too tough as they simply become bullet sponges. i enjoy your play-troughs as they create that sentiment..of quickly going through pois, checking new things out, and taking out the zombies with ease.
I think 5th or 6th time commenting something similar to this - CONTINUE THE SERIES BUT MAKE YOUR OWN BASE. The difference in what you are doing, and I think what people "normally" do that maybe Fun Pimps thought people would do is that you don't make your own base. You just move. Think this challenge would be ALOT HARDER if you could "base" wherever you want but you have to do the blood moon in bases you create. Then it means not only do you have to find the tools to harvest material but then you also have to harvest and create and build the base on top of that. believe it would make time management and just overall the "challenge" much harder but still keep the fun of us watchers enjoying seeing you do end game stuff and just be a bit sillier.
The thing about infested chests full of ammo at max level and game stage is the ammo is actually junk. Like junk in most games, it can be quite useful, but its real purpose is to burden the greedy. This is only partially true within the rules you've placed upon yourself, but it does still hold true here. You're only using a couple guns at any given time, ammo for guns you don't use is just junk. That's it's main purpose. It can have another purpose though, more for multi-player though. If your base was leveled and looted, you could actually get back into it quickly. Thinking about games like Rust(Gl9ck-Neebs-Vertiigo needs to happen, please), it can be quite difficult to get restarted, short of grubbing. Heavy ammoed loot allows one to jump right back in, especially considering 7DTD has a much stronger PvE system. All that said, you already have your answer for your player style, solo hard-core. Just scale down the loot percentage. Rust, Rust, Rust, please! ❤
Project Zomboid will always be welcomed. I'd like to see a vanilla attempt at high level infested. The mod might be giving you more ammo. I wouldn't mind watching you play Fallout 4. I know it's heavy on story but it's a cool game. An with the popularity of the new series you might get more viewers.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the Fallout homage? That is truly a Labour of love and an awesome Fallout Vault POI. Please? Pretty please. 😊
Obviously it would be a real pain to clear, but after the fallout shelter is cleared it would be a pretty good base to take over. Not for this series necessarily but in general
Glock, you have been playing this game for too many years to not know by now that picking up landmines comes from the infiltrator perk, not demolitions expert.
Be kinda cool, since you're doing the tier 6 anyways, if you had to clear it as your horde base then use it as is traps allowed. See if demolition expert and traps can defeat and end game horde alone.
