At around 6:00 when “Fisto” moved at lightning speed makes me panic, imagine going into the Brothel, paying for Fisto, going to the bar for a quick drink before entering Fistos room, and just receiving a lightning speed fist inside you while sitting at the bar…..lol

Imagine if FISTO screamed that at the top of its robot lungs constantly as it followed you. Eventually it’s slow speed makes you think you’re safe only to here the faint sound of something teleporting nearby and then just barely at the edge of your hearing you hear. PLEASE ASSUME THE POSITION! And then the chase is on again.

If there is a sleeping NPC and you start dialogue with them, they will get up, follow you, and try to talk.
This means that a run whilst being chased by EVERYONE is possible

I've got an idea: do the casino quests while being chased by the floor managers.
Ooh, I like that idea. More than a little different from the standard chase run. Probably more than a little harder, too. And it gives nerbit a reason to actually do 'how little we know' instead of opening a can of pumped up kicks on the Omertas like usual
as far as i know, the managers don't follow you outside. I tried it with the ultra-luxe manager

This run feels the most like that old Rooster Teeth podcast hypothetical where you get a million dollars, but there's a snail that's always after you, and if it touches you, you die.
I see a lot of "everyone chase the player" suggestions, so for a slight twist: Can You Beat Fallout: New Vegas AS Malcolm Holmes While Being Chased BY Malcolm Holmes? (SPECIAL stats: 10 C, 5 everything else, wearing Roving Trader Hat and Outfit, either no weapon or Hunting Rifle Only (Malcolm carries no acquirable weapon, but has .308 rounds, so seems likely he'd have the basic .308 gun).

I know that the whole following system in the game allows for followers to have followers. In fact, I have a follower mod in my loadorder that does that. You get one of them as follower, and the other follows them. Giving your companion a companion
Being chased by Fisto, Malcom, and Kowalshi should be interesting
2 fast chasers and 1 super slow chaser. Maybe the mix with cause at least one of them to almost catch him.
Fisto might be slow, but the robot is relentless. It doesn't sleep. it doesn't get tired. It has only one goal: Make the courier assume the position!

I got into a debate on a Fallout discord recently, about whether Courier's Stash was "pay to win" or not. Soooooo...

I will say, it is not, it just gives you a small boost, the leather armor is useless, the weapons have so little ammo and they already have better versions in game
Yeah not even remotely lol. As Vincent said, they're just slightly better versions of the weapons already readily available in abundant supply at lvl 1.
Imagine a run where you're being chased by another player
And they're blastproof with an infinite ammo fat man and are trying to blast you into pretty red dust.

It might be nice to see a challenge that's just "Can you beat Fallout: New Vegas?" and it just shows us how you would normally go about your preferred way of playing through the game in detail. Could be one of the longer videos probably.

Out of curiosity, what is your opinion on the isometric Fallout games like 1 and 2? I'm not sure on the optimal routes speedrunners take in those or specifically how long they take, so I'm not even sure what a challenge run would look like for those or if it would be fun.
I really enjoy them, but I've honestly never finished them, would love to make videos on them

tomatoanus here on youtube has fantastic videos of both the soeedruns themselves and explainations of the strats used in runs for 1,2,3,nv and 4- additionally, he's been to gdq! very fun watch
I activated him and got off the game, came back and didn't realize I hadn't talked to him and warped to Mojave outpost to sell the junk from in there, then to primm, goodsprings, and then to gun runners. That's when I checked my quest logs to see I needed to talk to him, and that's when I noticed he was outside the aerotech office. I ran up to him then and "tested" him out in the open desert.
Have you thought about mixing challenges like “can you beat fallout new vegas while running from Private kawolski while not killing anything?” I think that would be a very difficult challenge. Maybe too convoluted tho
That would just be a classic pacifist Yes Man run.
But I can see some interesting combinations. Like the crash man combined with a weapon restriction or character-based build. Especially if the build is not someone who can quickly talk their way out or just shoot from a distance. Like the Leatherface run that is limited to melee and low speech.

Always, people absolutely loved the recharger rifle run from a few weeks back, plus always fun to mess around with weapons you don't normally use :)
This is kind of a dumb request, but how about armour restricted runs? Playing through the whole game in a Legion Costume while siding with Mister House might not be the most intelligent move, but it'll probably make for a Hell of a challenge.
I haven't watched the whole video yet, but just reading the title I honestly laughed out loud, love your other "it follows" themed videos... And doing it with Fisto sounded hilarious to me

That would be just a hack and slash Legion run. It'd be very fun to see, but it wouldn't be very hard at all.
I did my own challenge in New Vegas after watching your and Mitten Squad's videos, in which I attempted to beat Fallout: New Vegas with only a pool cue as a weapon. I completed it while siding with the Legion, and that last stretch during Hoover Dam where you confront Oliver was a tremendous pain.
Why would you run from that loving? Oh Fisto, I need you.

what if you did a run as the most wanted man on the mojave, literally being chased by EVERY new vegas character that chases you. you could even go the extra mile and mod Mr Burke into the game
Also in new vegas,if you free Raul before dealing with tabitha,she will attack you as you leave the prison building,and if you flee instead of fighting tabitha will follow you across the mojave

Nightkin and Super mutants run really fast she'll probably just keep attacking, kinda like trying to run from a deathclaw. Would be crazy if nerbit pulled it off though.
Idk how many times I've asked, but a run where the Courier is scared of doctors could be fun!

-no chems, stimpacks, drs bags, or meds. Food and beds will be your only healing sources
-per in-game days, the Courier must consume one Fresh Apple per day (to keep the doctor away)
-bonus points if you slaughter the Followers haha
I've done this run myself and it is possible, food heals a LOT in hardcore mode
Guessing the teleporting is a result of being stud somewhere that confuses his pathfinding or fisto himself gets stuck, so the game just teleports him closer to try and fix it.
I'm more than likely wrong though
Can you beat Dead Money without healing a single time?
rules: no stimpaks, no auto-doc, no regen implant, must be on hardcore, must head straight to the DLC from Goodsprings. endurance must be set to 5 or less to avoid health regen, use of buffout is allowed if you are 1 hit away from death, however, your END must be limited to 2 if you wish to make use of it. you MUST defeat Elijah, trapping him is not allowed.
if you are too annoyed by concussions, healing your head is acceptable with a doctor's bag. other consumables that do not heal (but have positive effects) are allowed, including fixer and med-x. you may heal to full health before beginning the DLC as the challenge only really starts once you're there.
This would be more a mittensquad type of run because it’s so strict and gonna be hell to get through
It's impossible, on hardcore you get periodic damage. Very hard is very much possible
@@rettichdergeile9361 it doesn't damage you quickly enough to kill you when you're out in the villa, I did the math, it really only amounts to less than 10% damage to your HP if you are quick. most damage would be from the red clouds themselves, particularly inside the madre.
even with that said, I suggested Dead Money because of the DoT, it makes the run more tense.
Remember Tomas, the guy fighting Jacklyn over his blue star bottle caps? He chases you around indefinitely, too, but with a different twist. From what I could tell, he'll never enter Freeside or Vegas. He'll hang around outside until you leave and continue to chase you around the Mojave. Not sure where else he can't get into, but it also means he'll never get stuck chasing you around Vegas like Kowalski or Malcolm Holmes. Means you'll never know where you are and aren't safe, and if he'll be there to ambush you at an entrance.
I loved the video as always! My thought is that you should see if there's a way to mod the game so that the other characters that chase you (like Kowalski and Malcolm) are automatically placed closer to you like Fisto is partway through the video. I think these runs are getting a little too simple with practice.
Run Idea: Kowalski, Malcom Holmes, Victor and Fisto chasing you at the same time. You get them to chase you in order of proximity and then try and complete the game.

You know what would make a funny horror game? A slenderman clone where you, a postwar scavenger looking for good scrap and the whole game is you running away from fisto and when he catches you and jumpscares you, all he says is "please assume the position" followed by all the whirring and buzzing where he 'lovingly hugs you' to death. The game could be set postwar , and you're collecting 12 punch cards with data fragments that gets compiled at the end into a program that has his deactivation protocol.
Yoooooo Two Worlds video soon??? I actually had some fun with that game. The sand-gathering sidequest in particular made me laugh at the cheezy dialogue.

Hello, good video. I don't know if you accept challenge suggestions, but I have one.
I recently went through Honest Hearts with the express goal of finding every unique weapon, and one of them I was very surprised about was the Compliance Regulator. It's an energy weapon with very low damage (around 8 with maxed out energy weapons) but has the unique effect of paralyzing the enemy for a short time upon a critical hit. It can also be acquired very early in the DLC. The problem is that you have a mandatory combat section at the beginning, and you cannot leave Zion until you complete every main quest for the DLC. Of course this can be circumvented by dimply adding it to your inventory with console commands.
A popular Northern Irish youtuber tbh being from northern Ireland aswell it's rare to see any northern Irish youtuber with some sort of popularity, keep it up!

it would be nice a run in Fallout 4 while being chased by Strong (I believe he follows you forever trying to talk about macbeth or smth [so boring it deserves not being paid atention] ) im not really sure if he will chase the player forever or just for some time until he desists but could be tested
Actually now that he mentioned the Leatherface run, when he was wielding the chainsaw. While looking back, he did a Jason Voorhees style run (which was can you beat Fallout 3 with only a toy knife). It gave me an idea for another interesting challenging run for another iconic horror villian. Freddy Krueger
"Can you beat Fallout: New Vegas as Freddy Krueger?", a challenge where you have to beat the game as ghoul (as a mod, of course). But you have to only wear (Dirty) pre-War spring outfit, any fedora hat (meaning Dapper Gambling Hat, Fancy Gambling Hat, Stylish Gambling Hat, Fedora, or Vance's Lucky Hat), Your main weapon will always be Deathclaw Gauntlet or Fist of Rawr (or Fist of North Rawr with Wild Wasteland Trait).
The Twist now would be that you can only kill people when they're asleep, as we obviously know that every npc (not including Mr. House since he technically is in a bed machine) goes to bed. Though you can use Mister Sandman perk, as you please. But it would be easier just sneak up then give them a love tap with a giant deathclaw fist. But what faction to choose from for the ending would be really up to anyone's choice to see what Freddy would choose, although he is just a psychopathic dream serial killer.

Goes to show how brilliantly this game was designed in terms of how it can be completed with almost any self-imposed challenge I have seen tested.
you should do another one of these "running from" videos, but you increase the character's speed and add other little quirks to them
