It doesn't matter where her parents are from, it's where she's from. She was born and raised in the U.S. Both of my parents are from Iran, but I was born and raised here. America's my home. I've only been to Iran once and I don't even remember it. my ethnicity is Persian, but I identify as an american, and would play for the U.S. team if I were in the olympics.

Actually in the USA you get paid more to train in the US as in Canada the government barely gives Canadian Olympians money to train its only if you win a medal you get money. BROOKLYN SNODGRASS IS AMAZING I SWIM IN THE SAME CLUB AS HER!

I have an Iranian passport too, but I'm probably not going to go there, considering they're probably pick me up and stick me in the army for 2 years unless I pay them 10000 bucks. it's where you're from that counts. you have to remember though "American" and "Canadian" are not races or ethnicities. Everyone here is an immigrant, except the ones whose ancestors were here before Columbus, i.e. Inuits, Cherokees, etc
