It's been 11 years since I first watched this & it still makes me smile & laugh. It was so nice to see this amazing group of Olympic swimmers having fun vs. everything being so serious with all of the stress they may have been feeling at the time.

Also, only 2 of those medals were Gold and one of those gold medals was as part of the freestyle relay with Phelps.
I've seen this video when it was released in 2012, a few years later, and just watched it today. Its crazy to see how much has changed with these swimmers since 2012 getting married and having their own families now. The video has reminded me how fast the last 9 years has passed by and it's hard for me to grasp how valuable time is especially the older we get and changes that happen and haven't happened yet.
Watching this video now, 8 years later, in full covid era gives me goosebumps and makes me wanna cry. I hope we will soon be happy again as we were then. Ciao to everybody in the world from Italy. Love you all. Love humankind
As I approach my 65th birthday it’s hard to convey how much joy this video gives me because it makes me remember those days of mine when all my friends and I had to worry about was ourselves only and our only real responsibility was to stay out of trouble, and our health and bodies were perfect. No mortgage, nor spouse, children, job/career, health issues, money worries, care about politics, taxes, nor the myriad other things the adult world presses upon us.
I'm in my late 60s and I still love watching this video. Had I been on one of the opposing swim teams and saw this video, I would have looked at my teammates and said, "Time to pack it in boys and girls. The U.S. team is way too loose. Not a worry in the world. They're going to win every medal."
as someone who has swam for most of their life, I love seeing how no matter what team you are on, swimmers are weird, fun, and do stuff like this. makes me laugh every time.
I sat and watched every Olympics since the early 70s,, and always had hope, finally in 2012 my hopes were rewarded, everyone from the gymnasts to the swimmers to the ski team were top notch, these were the best brightest of all of our Olympic teams ever. I hope that you miss how special they are and what they did for our country

4 years have flown by pretty quick! All I have to say is Regular teams practice swimming but our swimming team creates fun videos? That's our USA swimming team!

I had so been hoping they would do another fun video like this and the 2016 carpool karaoke one. Maybe it's because Missy isn't there to get it organized. I loved it because it's so neat to see them having fun and just being normal people outside of the competition.
I have watched this at least 300 times. Love this. They truly knew how to have fun and enjoy this iconic song. There hasn’t been a song like this since! One that got parody so much and one that just everyone loves!
