People talk about how revealing tricks ruin them. Maybe that only applies to some people. Because for me, I get way more delighted in seeing the ingenuity and cleverness behind the trick. I am way more impressed by that then the end result of the trick. Maybe I'm just weird.

I think they did, but I think out of professional courtesy they pretended like they didnt. I mean come on - this is a trick she invented and made, it would be crushing. Penn & Teller were a class act. The way you wrote "hmmmmmm" tells me I think you think the same LOL

a great magician always brings something new on the table and does not rely on their old tricks. Someone said a true magician never performs his tricks twice. so basically for her to grow she needs to keep inventing new tricks. this reveal does not affect her at all
