A giant! Burt is a true genius and his wonderful body of work speaks for itself as one of the best and most enduring collection of songs not only of the period from the 1960s to the 1980s, but of the whole 20th century. I've been listening to them and enjoying them immensely for more than 50 years and hope to do so for many more to come. May his memory be a blessing. Feb 9th 2023

I spent hours to look at details at beautiful paintings. I omitted abstract. Being myself hobby- painter of still life last 14 years I admire old ART.

As I was 17 years old I was directly introduced to the wonderful music of this super musician, although when I was a kid I knew some of his music, sang by very well known singers. When I was in Washington D.C. in one of those Full Bright programms, we were taken by the host family I was visiting with other native kids to a concert he have given in a park in Baltimore and one can imagine the mirth and éxtasis one have derived, hearing life his performance with a large simphony orchestra and chorus. I enjoy his beautiful music and sing it, accompanying with loudspeakers, amplifiers and micro, as when I was a kid I sang at the school chorus, so I derive great joy and pleasure singing his many wonferful songs. The music for the musical 'Lost Horizon' I keep on singing it all the time and although the film was a failure at the box office, film and music is one of the best experiencies US have had in our whole life. Thank you so much for having the opportunity to acess one of the most superb musicians of all times. Thank you, again.

Of course we love his work, but it was a trio that put it into orbit! We know who wrote the songs, but it was Hal David’s great arrangements, and Dionne’s incredible voice, that made these so great!

Hoy 02 de Febrero del 2023, las noticias del día dan a conocer que este gran compositor y músico ha dejado de existir y, como a veces sucede es en este momento que uno empieza a conocer tardíamente su obra, este es mi caso, pero al ir escuchando sus temas uno reconoce que gran parte de su obra musical la ha oído en algún lugar y es este momento en que reconocemos lo que hemos perdido en definitivamente uno mas de los grandes que no estarán con nosotros pero es su música la que perdurara y nos acompañara por siempre. Va por ello mis eternas gracias maestro.

I am pleasantly surprised at the longevity of it. I regret that there are but a few videos of his live concerts of him.
