I agree 100%, but I would add Elvis & Tom Jones to the list also. All can do magical things with their voice.....and all could make you feel like they are singing directly to you, while still entertaining the crowd in the audience. Andy & Elvis could sing the phone book!

He has already been handsomely rewarded by us all over a lifetime, here on earth, and they say God gives out our talents and our own effort in training perfects it. What a lovely guy on stage, always charming, respectable an image of success and stability. Whatever he was like in private, for our part as fans he couldn't have presented any better. Beats the rest and compliments Dean Martin another lovely, sting but calm and gentle guy. True gentlemen. Inner strength is far stronger than that exhibited in today's violence and ignorance.

Andy hid his Italian ancestry really well, when I was young I had no idea, now I see a familiar unmistakable Italian look to he and his brothers, it's neither here not there but; you write; “chills from hearing him sing the tune from “The Godfather“ well”, he sang everything in a way no other could, other singers had their rightful place but theirs had more than Andy's to do with charisma and/or promotion, hype, fan's fixation, but on voice alone there was no worthy competitor, hype aside, Andy Williams had an unbeatable voice, range strength, duration and sensitivity, hands down. Capiche!? 😯😂

His voice got even higher pitched and treble as he aged. When he was in his prime, he was the best.

I've always enjoyed Andy's singing. I years younger than Andy. But there is a special gift from God that was given to Andy, and he shred it with the world!

If he were still alive I would go see him in Branson. Well, at least Jimmy Osmond bought the Moon River Theater, Now called the "Andy Williams Performance Arts Center & Theater." Although, I was too young to see him years ago I'm glad that you posted this video so I could see him performing among his best performances. Thanks!

Great music... why don't we have great music like this on the radio or TV in 2017? We need to thank the google boys and those who upload music for making this great music available to us old folks and for those who have not had the opportunity to listen to the great music of the past. Cheers... have a great day.. I need to get back to listening without disruptions of the key board.
