You may not have to have a shoulder replacement at all. These doctors jump at the first opportunity to cut cut cut, and to replace replace replace. You need to get another opinion. I never go with the first opinion from anyone. I have saved myself so much heartache right by having multiple opinions. You’re just gonna have to squeeze it in and bear it out until you can get in with somebody and get it fixed. Rotator cuff surgery is one of the most painful surgeries that there is. Don’t jump into a quickly just because you’re hurting.
Well as we age our bodies don't recover as quickly as it use to and plus most times your body likes to trick ya into thinking you can keep it up like you were a kid..
Brenda is such a wonderful, giving person. She will be rewarded. I’m off to my first physical therapy for my right shoulder, but I will not have operation. You are so brave Glenda!!!!

Have you ever thought about freezing your grapes? Cut them into small bunches and put them in zip bags and only take out what you want to eat. Theg raste like little "slushies" in your mouth and verg refreshing! My daughter and I always have a bag in the freezer, along with strawberries, raspberries and blueberries! Saves them from going bad in the refrigerator! Good luck at the doctor tomorrow! Hope you don't need the whole shoulder replaced, just the parts that are hurting! Sending healing blessings to you!
Is there any chance that you can avoid this surgery Glenda? If it were me i would stall the surgery and concentrate on physio Therapy and i would go to a gym. Get the best body builder you can find and get them to design a Programme for you that will help you live with your condition.
My appointment tomorrow is with a shoulder replacement Surgeon to get his opinion. The Orthopedic doctor who gave me cortisone & sent me to PT now wants another opinion. One tendon has a complete 1.8 cm tear, 2 tendons are partial tears, the cartilage in the Labrum is torn & there's bad arthritis. It's very bad

When u have your surgery. Please get home health for when u go home. Most medicare advantage plans have it at no charge.have the doc order it. I have where they will give u a ride to and from doctor. I hope u check it out.❤❤❤

I'm glad that people are looking out for you---for after your surgery. I had shoulder surgery about 10 years ago, it's a long and difficult recovery. (but worth it) My doctor and physical therapist both told me that it is the worst joint to get broken, or damaged. Why? Because the shoulder has to make over 30 different rotations when functioning normally. I got almost all of the rotations back after physical therapy, only the most difficult and rarely used one, was impossible. I was not allowed to drive for months...so keep that in mind in case they tell you that too. You will need help. Best of luck-with all the prayers going up for you--you will do just fine!
No you cannot go near a car for months and months. You have really got to be very careful here and get loads of home help. I have a friend who had this operation and parts for the shoulder made in France. After six months she can lift her shoulder a little bit. Physio Therapy for sure as often as you can have it. I'm not looking forward to it, but this pain is unbearable so I have no choice. I'm hoping to be able to drive using my left arm. My daddy drove his whole life with only his left arm while using his column shift stick & a clutch on his old trucks
@@glendasully Although they told me "NO DRIVING"....I have to admit that I cheated... After the first couple of weeks, I drove with my left arm. I had to... I live alone, and had no help. Be careful if you do so---you will feel somewhat unbalanced until you get more used to it.
