Making a latex bustier dress - Misa (Death Note) Cosplay

- The easiest way to create patterns for latex clothing! In this video I use painters tape to make a bodice pattern for Misa Amane’s dress. I also experiment with adding grommets and boning on latex.
This video is the second video in the Death Note cosplay series. In the previous video I created latex lace for Misa's gauntlets using liquid latex.

@5:00 finding stainless grommets is really difficult. I searched the whole internet for them when i made a prototype of heavy rubber handcuffs. I even directly asked supply stores and manufacturers. I think you dont find a lot of stainless grommets because stainless is really brital and breaks easy.
Love seeing your latex cosplay content. Keep up the good work!
your aesthetic is the absolute coolest! keep being you! 🖤
You do it very well and beautifully, you can close your eyes to minor flaws because, as far as I understand, you are not a professional tailor. And I also like that you don't make exact copies, but are inspired by the design and create your own.
Maybe.. You should take a complement. Marvelous Darlin! Simply Marvelous!
Looks really stunning you do really well made costumes 🤩
Beatuful dress !! I'm going to make myself like this !!
Wooaahhh!! THE DRESS LOOKS AMAZING!! I love watching your latex creation cosplay vids. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
11:54 Surprise cameo from a cute ferret!
Looks great, love it
This dress is not an easy task to manufacture and you did it splendid 😍👏 you are so talented ❤
Nice project! You look awesome!
Wow I loved the final look of your dress, especially with the under peticoat, great work I cannot wait to see more of your projects, I wish I could pay you to make me a project x
Wow! Incredible work! Thank you for showing your adjustments/corrections too; this was very helpful in understanding how to work with latex, in general. :)
Another amazing outfit 🥰 Can't wait to see what you make next
Bravo, great skills. Thank you for the sharing
Wonderful work!
Great tips and technique. This helped me a lot in deciding what I want to make.
I recommend an eyelet setting tool / hole punch instead of that thing you used. You can pick up a set fairly cheaply. You then just need a hammer. It's far easier as it doesn't take much strength.
Beautiful!
Dinner is on me. Nice!
perfection😍
DAMN.
❤
underrated channel
I love the crafting videos so much. You're really making huge progress!
I think I need to make a misa dress too, it's really pretty
A while back I made a pleaded skirt too, but i wanted to calculate the exact width I was able to do with a piece I had and that was just a pain :D Just eyeballing it would have been much better and wouldn't have looked any different anyways
Also I've never seen someone use zip ties yet, so I even learned something new! Thank you so much!
I loved the final look too
Congratulations on your beautiful work, besides being beautiful you are very talented princess!!!!!! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Maybe..Just stating that maybe you make this Everything! Nice Work!~ (Would I help?) Damn Skippy! Whatcha need?
Hi there. Congratulations on the videos, they are very good. A little question: what thickness do you use the latex?
Thanks! For this I used 0.4mm thickness.
The dress looks great but I'd be very surprised if those brass grommets didn't cause the latex to rot. I've had several latex garments messed up by brass hardware.
Thanks for sharing! Do you remember how quickly it all happened?
@@lacrymastory I'm sorry, I don't. From what I've read, the copper pulls moisture out of the surrounding latex leading to the dry rot. Any latex that is touching other layers can become a conduit for this moisture wicking action. I once had a hole rotted through the front side and back side of a catsuit just because it was hung in the closet up against another garment with brass hardware. I wish you luck with your beautiful dress. If you have the motivation to unglue it and remake that bodice panel with stainless steel grommets, I would do that. Otherwise, get plenty of awesome photos and uses out of it sooner rather than later. Good luck
I had a latex mask for a few years, had that problem. I think it's down to a number of factors: moisture from sweat, tightness of grommet, latex quality.
Dress looks ace! I am just finishing up an outfit and was stressing getting my torso right so this video came at the right time haha
Hello ! What kind of glue do you use ? My latex always roll on itself !
It’s a solvent based glue from MJ Trends!
@@lacrymastory thank you ! :)
