      @@EmilyAurelia you're welcome! Also a question that eventually popped up: you mention that the leotard has to be really tight. Doesn't that get uncomfortable or restrictive at all when moving around?

      Yeah! I highly recommend it since body paint is so messy, and it’s not likely to last on your hands when your touching all kinds of surfaces and what not.

    What is the curtain rings called and what size?

      Oh thank you! No permit needed. Before the pandemic they have always allowed photography as long as you don’t have a big set up. No light stands, no tripods and that such. There is almost always someone shooting there. most of it was locked off this time around which is understandable. But even then there was people shooting at the front of it. It’s such a pretty structure

      That’s fantastic!! I hope you have a lot of fun making this costume!!
      I actually made the mold from an old gem I had. But you can definitely find some on Etsy or Amazon

      The cape is a two tone taffeta that I got in the la fabric district. The bodysuit is a two way stretch pvc fabric from Joann 😊

      Oh I didn’t line the bodysuit. It was a nice thick pvc fabric so I only serged my seam c:

      What pattern are you planning to use? I recommend getting an extra one or two yards on top of what the pattern calls for… just in case of any mistakes. 😅
      And definitely sew some mock ups!! 🧵🪡✨

    Amazing! I’m also making a Raven outfit as well. How were you able to make the curve for her sleeves. Did you attach it to elastic to make it stay on her hand? And what fabric or material did you use to attach the gems? Some use chains but did you attach it to a belt or use fabric?

      I just cut the curve with enough seam allowance to topstitch a finish for the sleeves. The gems are glued onto a gold pleather fabric trim. The glue is E6000 😀
