Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. Berlin is on my bucket list. The quality of your videos are getting better with each one. Well done!
Thanks for the kind words, Scott!
Sending hate from Illinois, aww just kidding. Keep up the good work though oh and 10/10 intro, you videos just keep getting better - Will
Preciate you, Will! Thanks for watching! :)
😂😂
I loved it! I was so excited to see Berlin as I'm to Munich!
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed! :)
Digging the glasses
Preciate that! 🙂
Awesome video! Been loving the drone shots over the course of the trip :) any tips or tricks for getting the shots you do? Considering picking one up for my own travel
Thank you, Nathan! Honestly you just need to practice. Lighting is helpful too. Mid day with no cloud cover is nice, or after sunrise or before sunset. But mainly, the more you shoot and practice with it, the better you’ll get. :)
Those boats are the bridges are sleek- they are designed in the French style of the Bateaux Mouches in Paris. Did you take a cruise?
Yeah I thought they were cool too! Did not take a cruise unfortunately.
which club in berlin did you guys go to 😅
It was called "club OST"
Hostel name and address?
Name of metro near your hostel and train station name to go to city centre?
We stayed at the “Kiez Hostel Berlin” The address was Marchlewskistraße 88
Friedrichshain
10243 Berlin
Germany. We took the Weberwiese stop to the city center.
isn't there a drinking culture in party hostels or hostels in general? how did you guys not drink? wondering if it could be an issue as a non-drinker
You’re never really forced to drink at any of the Hostels. Sometimes people will offer you drinks but that’s just will power😅 We didn’t drink for a while because we just didn’t feel like it. We were so tired at the end of pretty much every day from full days of sightseeing. I don’t think you’ll have an issue at all. Most people are super chill and I hung out with other people who were drinking at Hostels when I wasn’t drinking.
what lav mic are you using? i'm going on my not nearly as long eurotrip later this year was considering the idea of recording
The brand is Hollyland! To be honest I got it because it was a bit cheaper but I've had quite a few issues with the audio peaking. I've set the gain to be super low now but then it doesn't sound quite as crisp in post.
@@noahanderson14 thanks so much, I got a few months to figure out what I want to grab. Your packlist was super helpful! I'm still trying to decide on a roller carryon vs a backpack. I'm planning on hitting Berlin and Munich as well!
@@imcrossingthepond glad to hear the packing list was helpful! :) I would 100% recommend a backpack. It is so much easier to carry around. Especially for a longer trip. I would imagine a roller bag would be such a hastle in so many different ways, especially if you’re doing a trip at a pace like I did.
@@noahanderson14 yeah. I think it's the idea of always carrying all that weight but I guess if I pack super light it won't matter! mines will def be a lot slower and for five weeks I think? it's still in the planning stages but Ireland UK and Germany are on the list atm. I just realized I have no idea how I found your channel but glad to have caught your content giving me ideas for my own adventures! :)
Sweet, glad to hear that you're using my videos for inspiration! :)@@imcrossingthepond I don't personally think the weight of a backpack is really that bad. My bag was around 20 lbs and I never had a issue with carrying it longer distances. The thing is, you won't do too much walking with the bag itself. You should really just think about the ease of getting it onto trains, busses, trams, and into Hostels. Once you get to your accommodation in a new city you won't need to pull out your entire bag until you leave for your next city. I've traveled with roller bags for shorter trips, and I would imagine that traveling with that sort of bag would become a nuisance on a longer trip every time you move to a new city.
What camera and drone r u using?
My camera is just my iPhone (14 Pro) and my drone is the DJI mini 2 SE.
