Leaving in 4 days for my 3 month backpacking trip in Europe, cant believe im only just finding your channel. Seemed like you had an amazing time and I will be watching all your videos in the next couple days 😂
If I lost my microphone, I would have gone ballistic and absolutely no way would have biked that many miles back to find it. How you handled that situation was amazing ! Kuddos for acknowledging your growth !
Great videos on your channel; really inspirational! I have a few questions if you don't mind answering: 1. Do you dislike anything about the Osprey Farpoint 40L so far in your trip? (Any weak points?). Im planning to get one too. 2. Did you encounter any pick pocketers (stealing your backpack)? 3. Did you plan your day trips months in advance or nights before? Thanks!
I had no issues with the bag! Outside of its price point, I loved it! I never had an issue with anyone stealing my bag or stuff. I was also very careful though. I either had my bag on me or near me or locked away in a hostel. I sometimes planned the day trips in advance, but sometimes I just planned them after meeting up with new people at the hostels and seeing what the best day trip spots were! Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
Awesome. Really appreciate that. I use the DJI Mini 2 SE. Not the nicest drone, but it turns out it doesn't really matter. If you practice a lot you'll get better and can get really nice footage!
😅. Yes! May have overused that a bit, but seeing this castle was one of the main highlights of the trip. So incredible. You have to see it at some point if you haven't!
Hey idk if you already had this idea but you should do like a highlight real of basically all the cool drone footage of Europe’s highlights and you could use “The Feels” by Labrinth or “Sail” by awolnation because it would go well with the vibe. At the beginning you could be like, “Thinking about going on a trip to Europe, let me show you why it’s 100% worth it (cut to drone footage montage with awesome music.
Thank you, Nathan! And yes, its called the "Anif Palace." If you look up that or "Schloss Anif" in Google Maps you should be able to find it. It's just south of the small town called Anif, which is about 8km south of Salzburg. Super easy to get to by bike from Salzburg. I believe there are also busses that you could take.
I have a refurbished Garmin Vivoactive 3. I really like it because you can download music onto it and it has GPS capability. I also have had it for a couple years and it still works great! I charge it every few days. Usually 2-3 days and then I charge it. It was better at the beginning but it is getting older now.
@@noahanderson14 I wish! I only have a month. I may have to cut back on one country which just wrecks me 😭 I'm debating buying a tiny drone the views seem amazing, worth dragging along? never had one myself
@@imcrossingthepond Fair enough. I definitely think so! I think they offer a unique perspective that you just can't get with a traditional camera or your phone. But also, that's an extra thing to have in your bag and an extra cost. But you can get some dope shots to look back on and remember your trip!
A man walks into a grocery store and asks the saleswoman: - Can I have a stick of smoked sausage! - Do you want it whole or sliced? - Don't you understand? What do you think I have: an ass or a piggy bank?
I actually didn't take off directly from that area, but rather from that hilltop I was walking along in the thumbnail. But no, I've never encountered any problems flying my drone in Germany/Europe. If you take off and land discreetly and quickly, you shouldn't have any issues.
Outstanding filming and editing man! Such a brilliant scenery!
Thank you! :)

Also, its cheaper that way, and you can be a bit more ballsy since it's not as big of a deal if you crash it! :)
finally the actual video for the thumbnail that's been used on multiple videos lol

I'm hoping to eventually make some sort of trip compilation! Thanks for that idea!
Great video man! Do you know what castle that is at 4:47 ? I'd love to look into it more myself 😁

What watch did you use? how was the battery life on it?

@@noahanderson14 Thank you! I'm looking to upgrade from my Apple Series 3 for my trip, as mine is a bit old, haha.

That's the problem though, there's too much cool stuff to see! Extend your trip! 😅

Did anybody ever hassle you for using the drones in the areas posted verboten?
