I agree, wise words. Should actually be taught in school too, I think jr high. I became my own mental victim because I was a poor white kid who lived in a trailer in a very rich tourist town. As a young kid starting they mocked my clothes, etc.. I started seeing myself as nothing but trailer trash and became a rebellious little witch. I later joined army and gained pride in myself, learned that I was actually very smart (top honors, then earned bs and a masters degree. ) and capable just like all my fellow soldiers. Just needed to have that label removed when I was in basic and have done well since then.

I graduated in 1973 Our yearbook cover had 5 students posed one behind the other. Pacific islander at the front, an Asian girl behind him, a Hispanic guy behind her, then a White girl and lastly a Black guy. We were showing our diversity and that we welcomed everyone.

When there is no evidence that a particular incident (such as her son being called that word) happened, the burden of disproving it falls on everyone else. That is why she can make the allegation and not worry about being proven a liar. Because how can a nonexistent event be disproved?
