I live in a low income mostly black community and was surprised to see an 18 wheeler truck in out apartment complex bringing everyone milk. It was going to go to waste because restaurants weren’t using as much in the Covid days. Trump is the one who sent it all to low income households!
When he came here in 2016 for a rally, I got into a conversation with his campaign bus driver. He was telling me how tired he was. He named all the cities he'd driven to and all the cities he had to drive to next. He then said something that really stuck with me, "And two weeks ago, Trump called me personally. He said to TAKE ALL CAMPAIGN STICKERS OFF THE BUS and go pick up the pallets of supplies that he'd bought. He told me to go up and down the east coast handing those supplies out and not to return until they were all gone." This was right after Hurricane Matthew had struck the East coast. It spoke volumes to me that the man running for president didn't care about getting any credit. He just wanted to make sure people had the supplies they needed.

I use to be more liberal, now I am more conservative. I feel conservatives want you to be able to succeed no matter your race,ethnicity, or sexual orientation. Liberals just look at these labels and pick the boxes you check, rather your experience or qualifications. Trump never discriminated and that's why they considered him racist and etcetera. He didn't caterer to the boxes, he went by qualifications.

I live a very diverse area. I never experience or observe racism in public. Literally not once in at least 20 years. We all are kind to each other and help each other when needed. The discussion between Dr Cornel West and Candace Owen was amazing, but Ingram handling two such polar opposite and notoriously fiery pundits was a masterpiece of journalism and interviewing skills. She made DCW feel welcomed immediately with her introduction of of an obviously politically opposing guest, and used slight phrases and comments to make his comments more palatable for Candace, whom Ingram obviously associates closer with on the topic. This interview should be shown in journalism classes.

I come from a military family I have uncles cousins, brother, grandson, nephews that were in every branch of this military and they will be voting Democrat and when I say I have family I’m not talking about five or 6 or 10 more than that, they fought in the World War II Vietnam in Korea when the Olympics were there my brother was there, so that’s why I’m saying Korea and desert storm. Thank you guys for your videos. As a Hispanic who grew up in South Central in the 70' and 80's I use to identify (lol) as a Democrat. I started researching both parties and realized that the Dems were not trying to help me succeed in life, their social programs were rewarding my inaction and expected me to fail so I can rely on those programs to survive and keeping them in office to continue these programs.
When I was a kid, I asked my grandfather about the difference and why was everyone else democrat and he was republican. I told him that everyone said that democrats were for the poor and republicans were for the rich. He told me that if Democrats helped anyone out of poverty, those people would stop voting democrat, right? He said that if republicans wanted to stay in power, they HAD to lift more people out of poverty. That made sense to me and it seems to have worked out that way.

When Candace said Trump would crack the black vote in 2020 and you said "that didn't age well" actually it did. There were more black people who voted for a Republican ever in history in 2020. So Candace nailed it.
And yet of all the votes that were cast by black voters, only 12% of them went to Trump. So no, Trump did not crack the black vote. He might have done better than previous candidates but it was still an abysmal outcome.

I live in a low income mostly black community and was surprised to see an 18 wheeler truck in out apartment complex bringing everyone milk. It was going to go to waste because restaurants weren’t using as much in the Covid days. Trump is the one who sent it all to low income households!

When he came here in 2016 for a rally, I got into a conversation with his campaign bus driver. He was telling me how tired he was. He named all the cities he'd driven to and all the cities he had to drive to next. He then said something that really stuck with me, "And two weeks ago, Trump called me personally. He said to TAKE ALL CAMPAIGN STICKERS OFF THE BUS and go pick up the pallets of supplies that he'd bought. He told me to go up and down the east coast handing those supplies out and not to return until they were all gone." This was right after Hurricane Matthew had struck the East coast. It spoke volumes to me that the man running for president didn't care about getting any credit. He just wanted to make sure people had the supplies they needed.

I'm Hispanic and my parents were die hard democrats and they died waiting for the democrats to take them out of poverty. No matter how much I talked to them, I could never get them to understand democrats need you to be poor so you can keep voting for them while you wait for them to keep their promise to lift you out of poverty.

The discussion between Dr Cornel West and Candace Owen was amazing, but Ingram handling two such polar opposite and notoriously fiery pundits was a masterpiece of journalism and interviewing skills. She made DCW feel welcomed immediately with her introduction of of an obviously politically opposing guest, and used slight phrases and comments to make his comments more palatable for Candace, whom Ingram obviously associates closer with on the topic. This interview should be shown in journalism classes.

Thank you guys for your videos. As a Hispanic who grew up in South Central in the 70' and 80's I use to identify (lol) as a Democrat. I started researching both parties and realized that the Dems were not trying to help me succeed in life, their social programs were rewarding my inaction and expected me to fail so I can rely on those programs to survive and keeping them in office to continue these programs.
This could not have been better said I am hispano and was raised Democrat. Thought that was they way but now have switched sides.
When I was a kid, I asked my grandfather about the difference and why was everyone else democrat and he was republican. I told him that everyone said that democrats were for the poor and republicans were for the rich.
He told me that if Democrats helped anyone out of poverty, those people would stop voting democrat, right?
He said that if republicans wanted to stay in power, they HAD to lift more people out of poverty.
That made sense to me and it seems to have worked out that way.
