- 2015 Ford Territory MkII Titanium TDCi AWD 0-100km/h & engine sound. Head over to performancedriv... for the full review.
2015 Ford Territory Titanium TDCi AWD
2.7-litre turbo-diesel V6
140kW and 440Nm
Six-speed auto, all-wheel drive
0-100km/h in 9.4 seconds (as tested)
Good positive review, a pleasant change from the doom and gloom many auto journalists spout.
Listen to John Cadogans reviews on the Ford territory,he makes it sound like a piece of trash,i just bought a used Diesel model....Fantastic SUV !!
John Cadogan is an arrogant twat.
Cardigan is a dipshit
I wonder what that wanker drives cause all the cars he talks about is a piece of shit
@@hartoz yep I hope i meet him one day to tell him that!
That’s John Carbogan
What about the inline 6?
In Line BARRA is still good, get the Territory Turbo for that speed though.
Why don't you try i6 engine version
faster than a ranger
Any exhaust drone?
should have made a Territory sprint
Why is it that Ford isnt mass producing the TDV6, like VW s 3.0 TDi etc
Thia 2.7 is an old motor previously in Jaguar/Land Rover
4dshow So what Ford needs engines like these in cars like Ford Falcon,Ford Everest etc not small turbos,
Very disappointed at Ford because they are not interested in good v6 diesels
I guess Fords global focus is on downsizing and forced induction (Raptor for an example) The Falcon and Territory are Australian made and will cease to exist in a few years.
I would've have liked to own a powerful diesel, like Audi's BiTDi for example.
Yes.
Ford is killing the v6 tdci, it could have made Ford EDGE,EXPLORER, etc sell like hot cakes with this diesel engine and some upraded turbo etc,
2.7tdv6 is peugeot engine
what is the treck
It is 2 tones so that is the reason it is quite slow
Hmm the older turbo petrol version is scary fast!! and its also over 2 tones ;)
@@ufowraithBarra engine. 🍻

hi
I'd take the 4.0 six anyday over this slow coach.
If you need AWD then its diesel only.
If you're paying for fuel no you wouldn't. If you wana go fast buy a Falcon. This is plenty fast enough for what it is.
Agree with you I had this exact model diesel as well 2015 Titanium sold it and bought a SX Ghia 6 months later way better car apart from the suspension but will be doing the SZ upgrade
2:06 - Look at that old truck engine pump that black smoke with no diesel particulate filter. Ford really should've fitted one to their flagship soft roader. Filth!
If you run them on premium diesel like Caltex vortex diesel or bp ultimate diesel there is quite a bit less smoke
I rather take reliability than a DPF which needs to be forced into a clean cycle while burning more fuel.
Most diesels still produce a little bit of smoke out the exhaust when you drive them hard, my dad's 2.5 D nissan pathfinder does that and yes it has a dpf.
@@Aman-fv5if The Ford Territory Diesel does not have a DPF. This is stated from multiple sources for example: "The 2.7-litre turbo-diesel V6 is a well suited powerplant for the Territory, offering 140kW and 440Nm while returning an easy-to-match combined fuel consumption figure of 8.2L/100km.
Peak torque is available from 1900rpm and the Ford drives in a relaxed and seemingly effortless manner. Try to push it a bit, and you’ll start to see the V6 operate outside of its comfort zone, plus the absence of a diesel particulate filter means you’ll also see a cloud of diesel smoke from the single exhaust (the pair of cut-outs on the rear valance are design elements only)."
@@dangerhighvoltages Yes you're right but that does not make the territory a bad car or "filth" it is a fairly normal thing for a diesel to do anyway even around the time this car was sold.
Even with a dpf a diesel can smoke as i mentioned about my dads car.
dont like the fake exhaust in the bumper
That smoke LMAO! Plus, slow as hell!
+se7en1976 Diesel sucks!
Great on service & higher fuel cost and pollution too my friend ;-P
loads of rubbish, I am in Perth and a litre of petrol is 6-7 cents cheaper than a litre of diesel. Diesel produces less CO2 but more other toxic stuff for instance SO2 and NOx as an example. Diesel car is generally more expensive to purchase, to service as well. Go and read more before posting the rubbish above. It will make your comments a lot more logical!
Not at all. We earn heaps more than you guys over the east anyway. Our share of GST is among the most generous state in the country. Anyway, I can understand trucks and large SUVs use diesel but it is absolutely pointless for small cars specially when you only run 10k km a year! At the end of day, nobody cares about efficiency but saving money is paramount. Plus, diesel makes more pollution is a solid fact, not by a small margin but quite significantly. The future of family passenger cars is in hybrid or electric, definitely not in diesel!
Poor freakin coal miner cannot even find jobs nowadays. 160K is average here and you think that is high? LMAO you are a ture pathetic low live maggot.
