I own this and I have to say, I have a very narrow head and quite long Caucasian nose. This headgear on narrow head makes the bar sticks out a lot more, having a lot of room for punches to hit me without ever touching my nose. I love the visibility on it too. I heard a lot of bad things about it, but it really depends on how you adjust it. I tight it a lot so that the bar rises upward, forces me to head down during the rounds, therefore protecting my chin and having compete visibility. I really love how they use the least material, only on critical parts where it is required to make it light, breathable, protective and once again and the best selling point: AMAZING visibility. PS: I use the headband trick for it not to slide when I sweat, and to protect my sensitive skin not to touch the leather too much
Thanks for the review bro 👌 Been in between a face saver/open headgear and the biggest thing for me is the vision/mobility... this seems to be the best of both worlds
That Boxing Guy I did get the classic one and I felt my cheek bones everytime I got punched because there was not enough padding on the cheek bones, so when you hit the bar you will feel it on your cheeks like a hard metal stilling on them. That is why I returned them.
When I get punched in the face, with Winning FG2900, I only feel the punch on the spot and winning cushions it well. But with face saver, if I get punched on the bar, I feel it in my entire head because bar forced back which forces the forehead which holds the bar
I had a nose surgery so I need a face saver that doesnt touch the nose almost nothing so will you recomend this one or the rival guerrero face saver ??? I am a guy with a big head AND bulky low nose, so many headgears out there always sit right into my upper nose part. Wich other face saver will you recomend me ???? Great videos !!
If you just speak english, let me know, thanks

FERNANDO MATUS there something special knowing the history and especially that it’s made in Mexico my first day at the gym. I didn’t have any headgear so I put on cheap adidas and didn’t feel comfortable and confident in them but my cletos boy best believe I’m knock you ass out haha but if you don’t have the money stick to the cheap ones it’s okay nobody going to hate you and I don’t care but if boxing is an art for you invest in your tools. Boxing is a serious business.
EverythingJailbreak Pro I guess you feel more confident with “better” gear. That’s good, whatever makes you feel better. I had felt the same force of impact with winning face saver and with no headgear at all. That’s my point. Is just a mith I believe
Haha, back when I was competing I used to knock it and think they were dumb. But now as a 40 yo school teacher, I can’t be walking around with a busted face at work now 🤕🥴

I’ll have to try out the headband idea, I usually would use a bandana. But yeah, I love the visibility in this head guard
Has it saved your nose?

Love your review on the rebook boxing boots. Definitely gonna buy me a pair 👍
What's a good face saver for a small head?
Is that the traditional cleto Reyes one ?
No, it’s the redesigned one. I’m looking into trying the traditional ones eventually
Thanks for this review man 🙌
No problem, bro👊🏽
bro nice review but my concern is all aobut my nose will i get my nose broken with this head gear or it will protect me thanks
im afraid that space betwen the bar and the head could get the gloves in and get my nose broken @@ThatBoxingGuy
hey I got a question whether in your opinion to get the fly superbar or this? Thanks
Please do a review on the Ring to Cage gel face saver
I’ll check them out when I get the chance, they look pretty good
Is the fighting leather no contact helmet good or no?
@@ThatBoxingGuy I weigh 150 pounds, the fighting headgear is huge on me. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone lighter than cruiserweight
amazing reviews
Which brand and model of facesaver has the best vision ?
which one is better, cleto reyes facesaver or the rival facesaver?
The nose bar is made of metal or plastic?
It’s a polyurethane plastic
Thanks for the review bro 👌
Been in between a face saver/open headgear and the biggest thing for me is the vision/mobility... this seems to be the best of both worlds
How could you prevent the rust on the buckle?
Skully I’m sure there are rust preventers or rust cleaners that u can pickup at any hardware shop
A rust preventative oxide paint
Very nice review! The things you point out are uncommon and very useful
Thanks, glad you found it useful
Hey fella. What's the weight like compared to the rival?
i don;'t like the way the nose bar has no cushion or very little from the inside when i get hit i feel like the plastic hits my mouth kinda hurts.
whats good. redesigned headgear or the traditional one ?
I haven’t tried the Traditional one, but I feel like the redesigned one could be too big for most people
Will this totally save your face when you get punched?
For the most part, but the bar does hit your lip if it’s too big on you
Reyes or Winning?
Can you do a review of the cleto reyes training gloves?
It to big the 16oc Reyes and not n a small shape n maybe a lil over 16oz, hayubasy have decent one for the price if u can’t afford winnings
This one or classic for the vision and weight (light)!

Why not make a review about clear face shield models or cage. Title sells them.
Vision seems great
That noise bar sticks out way to far for me. But I got a small nose
I thought the same for me too
Would be great a video comparing the traditional headgear with this one.
Good work.
@@ThatBoxingGuy would you recommend this one over the Rival?
The traditional one is more for oval angular faces. The new design is more for people with round heads. I have traditional. It's great.
This or Winning FG2900 for vision and protection?
“I know Fg2900’is a different kind”
