- US Halal Meal Individuals are sort of a hidden gem when it comes to Military Rations. They have some very unique menu options, like this Barley and Vegetable Stew with Lamb from 2016. The Halal Meal doesn't have quite the shelf life of a standard MRE but they make up for it with flavor. I'd bet these are a welcome change for anyone who has been eating the same 24 menus for a while.

Got a few of these on sale, not bad in my opinion, not Halal myself but they were still pretty tasty as an MRE.
I really could use a good laugh about now. I have a feeling this video is going to take care of that. If not I am sure I will be entertained as always. ❤

Great video man I have had several of these and there awsome when fresh but seems like when they turn they turn wounder if it's because of packaging or preservatives?
The thin packaging of the snacks just doesn't do as good of a job as the regular MRE packaging. The mains hold up just as well as usual in my experience
Glycerine can be (is usually?) non-halal, that's why the raisins aren't coated with it.

It's never happened from a MRE fortunately. One time I got it from airline food on my way to Italy 😂
