- One of the most epic songs by Swedish Death Metal band Amon Amarth.
Amon Amarth concerts and albums bring so many good memories, it's been a long time I wanted to cover one of their songs on Hammered Dulcimer.
Hammered Dulcimer transcription/performance, audio production & video editing : Val Cortoni
Technical details : My hammered dulcimer is a Roger Frood Dove 4-13-13-6 Chromatic model (customized).
For the backing track, I've used a commonly found MIDI score as a starting point, and strongly edited it to achieve a decent sound.
Virtual instruments I used are Groove Agent 5 (drums), Halion Sonic 3 (bass), Amplesound Metal Hellrazer (virtual guitars), all programmed and recorded in Cubase Pro 11.
