I'm a poly-instrumentalist songwriter and music producer based in Paris, France. My original compositions are deeply inspired by my European roots, featuring medieval instruments such as hammered dulcimer and celtic harp, along with electronic instruments and modern production techniques.
I released my debut Synth-Folk EP 'NOMADE' in 2020 and my first album 'CORÉLIAN' on March 24th, 2022.
I'm also fond of heavy metal music, old video games soundtracks, celtic and baroque stuff, and I have a lot of fun covering these on medieval hammered dulcimer.

Valse à Ollu (Breton waltz) on Hammered Dulcimer
I filmed this gorgeous waltz in May 2024 during my trip to Finistère (Western département of Brittany). I found this beautiful place in front of the Atlantic ocean and decided to play this tune from Alain Ollu, an accordion player from Finistère.
Alain Ollu initially wrote this waltz in the 1980's as a simple hands independance exercise. The simple yet extremely pretty melody made it very successful, and it is still popular among folk diatonic accordion players today.
I discovered this waltz in 2022 in the Château d'Ars festival (France) and thought it would make an excellent hands independance exercise for hammered dulcimer too, with the left hand playing the melody vertically and the right hand playing the 3/4 bass line horizontally.
For this video I used my compact 9/9 chromatic hammered dulcimer from Claude Bertrand atelierdeclaude.unblog.fr/
Note: I played the rendition spontaneously without outdoors recording gear, alas the weather was too windy for the camera's mic. But the scenery was too good to be left aside so I re-recorded the audio back in my home-studio as transparently as possible.

I don't have this exact arrangement which is partly improvised, but it's quite easy to find the melody online, I play it in E minor and my bass line just goes E-B-B / C-G-G / D-A-A / B-F#-F# for almost the whole tune.
