I was in Tanzania and absolutely blown away by the lack of security given to early man’s skulls. A friend on the trip thought I must be talking about Tanzanite, because in his mind that was the only thing he thought Tanzania housed that would be worth security
If I’m not mistaken, jadeite refers to the opaque version, while the pictures you’ve shown in this clip mainly feature Imperial jade, which is semi-translucent.
I have an Alexandrite engagement ring. 1 carrot surrounded by opal wedding band. Each side of the Alexandrite has three marquee diamonds on each side of the oval Alexandrite. We got it while we were in Russia
he should’ve added Res diamonds, it’s rarer thank Pink diamonds. only 20-30 gems exist in the entire world. Or the Royal Violet diamond. it’s the ultra rare color diamond
Here's a question from a clueless person. If gemstones do vary in colour, how can you tell, for instance, a sapphire from Tanzanite? Or Red Beryl from Rubies and Painite when to the naked eye, they look almost identical? After all. It's easy enough when you compare sandstone with flint or marble as they're so extreme in both appearances and textures.
Give it to 'em! In large lumps. Welo, you think? Just asking. I do Black Opal Direct, Roy's Rocks. That Opal Guy. 53 frogs, Pulitzer Opal, The Opal Mills. Stick with them. Can't go wrong. I'll stand behind each one of these. A couple I missed. Sorry. All are into teaching, not selling. (That's their bonus for hard work). The selling is a business. The showing of methods is pure love of the gem.😊😊
I think this video could be improved on the narrator's part, just as my life could be if I had a good example of each of these gemstones in my possession!
Tanzania was a German colony that was taken off the Germans after the first world war and given to the British. The Germans and Austrians were making jewelry with this stone zoisite and they knew it was zoisite now known as tanzanite by Americans who don't like being corrected in history a bit like that 1812 to 1814 war with the British, but during the 1880s to the 1950s you can find details in various antique jewelry made by Austrians and Germans in books. And of it's rediscovered only by chance when a large stone was found in 1960s then on the mountain they found more. That large stone sold for 1 million dollars in a private auction in 2010s ish. Until they almost mined it out, it's now under strict government license they let very little of these stones out now of Tanzania but a Judith Millars book on antiques Love mom
Tanzanite is a very weak stone, can be scratched with a fingernail. Over priced for sure. Also most tanzanite is a brownish orange when found. It is laser treated to turn it blue..NOT WORTH MUCH AT ALL.
Beautiful gems--- BUT, why are all these countries where these stones were found so ignored & poor?? There's enough money made to fix these countries CARTIER, DEBEERS, Tiffany & Co., Medici LLC, & ALL WHO HAVE MINED!
The ruby is on the list. A ruby is a red sapphire, but given its own name. I don't know why the narrator does not inform the viewers. And for him to say that Rubies come in pink, that would be a pink sapphire and not a pink ruby. Sapphires come in a rainbow of colors, but when it is red, it is called a ruby, as I mentioned.
@@kaleoy7584 rubies actually do come in pink varieties. The difference between a pink sapphire and a pink ruby is that in a pink ruby, red is still the dominant color. And yet there are still enough pink undertones in the ruby that it can be considered to be a pink ruby. So the narrator is correct in this instance. He simply said that rubies come in shades of pink to deep red.
It's said some quality stones come from Jamaica wi to said it's you brought it here of Jamaica wi is limestone wood and water. She us about the best stone s come s from Jamaica wi and pink diamond too what aeon will do with them of his finding.

You missed a lot important Gems 💎 you don’t even have my favorite which is Paraiba Tourmoline also Russian Demantoid, also i don’t remember seeing sapphire on your list which is super weird not having a sapphire
no single time talks about bleu sapphires from Sri Lanka the top 10 most expensive sapphires of the world comes from Sri Lanka 😅 maybe the reason he didn’t talk about it it’s because it’s not owned by the British government
Showing a map of Russia with Ukrainian territories under occupation is unacceptable. If you're going to include occupied Ukrainian land, you might as well exclude part of Kursk region, since it's currently under Ukrainian control.
Tanzanite is Zoisite, not "sapphire", which is corundum.
I was going to say I didn’t think tanzanite was a sapphire (corundum). Yet the narrator never said that a ruby is in fact a sapphire.
no tourmaline? no sapphire? no benitoite? no heliodor? no aquamarine? no spinel?
red beryl? beryl is tourmaline. aqua + heliodor also beryl 🤣

Tanzanite isn’t a sapphire…

They looked at me like I'm stupid when I walked in the jewelry shop asking for a tanzanite sapphire 😒
The precious gems are enomorous occurred in our country so I love it.
5:03 Pink Diamonds are not the most rarest and not the most valuable diamonds. Red and blue are more rare and valuable.
what i learned... there are only 1 zero zero painite gemstones
Smart video. I learned, and I do enjoy learning.
Why is Saphira not on the list??
What about green diopside
Pink diamonds are the rarest of colored diamonds? I thought it was the red diamonds?
Tanzanite is NOT a sapphire......good god....
There is a mountain in Alaska with huge green jade deposits , men died to get some .
Japan also has jade and in 5 different colours..some even say they have Imperial Jade so yeah

Sapphire, garnet and spinel are not valued gemstones?
Sapphires are, such as rubies, since a ruby is a red sapphire.
