@@PDAguilar I think what makes it work so well is that you successfully made it feel "alien" as opposed to fantastical, and to me that matches more with Stormlight than traditional fantasy. Sure Stormlight is technically fantasy but imo it has a lot of sci-fi under the surface and I think the Parshendi would look alien, not fantastical. Even the shardblade looking more sci-fi makes a lot of sense to me.

Really fantastic job! I love the implementation of the ten heartbeats as jumping off point for the editing. It's a good excuse to have only a few high detailed shots rather than something that would have taken far to long to make. I love your design of the Parshendi, I've seen many interpretations, I think yours are my favourite so far. I love the detail of the slow zoom and then you can only just notice the human like eyes as it cuts to black really effective emotionally at least for me. The shot with all the Parshendi was truly staggering I wasn't expecting so many character models in low budget TH-cam short. One criticism is that the shard plate helm looked a bit off to me I wasn't sure if it was the back or the front. Can't to see more, you're going places. EDIT: Never mind I've looked at your other stuff, I think you've gone places already haha
That sword summon was sooooo sick !!!!! I hope we get to see a Stormlight adaptation someday... Also, on a production-design standpoint I agree on the decision of making the sword shorter and less bulky. On a lore standpoint my soul is screaming, but sometimes you need to silence the fanboy to do what works and is practical haha ! I think I would change how they work slightly in live action. Making them shorter, but making them cut even when the sword doesn't touch the person. Like if there was an aura around it. Still feels anime as hell, but more palatable for a general audience haha
Isn't that the "stone pose style"? I thinking the pose need to be more agresive, ready to make longer bows and flexible swords to reach the Pars while they're jumping.
