I need a new wallet. I have the same style as your old one and like that setup. You'll have to give us a 1 month update on how you like the layout and maybe a 6 month or 1 year wear update too!
Nice looking wallet! The smell of leather never gets old! Looks like a beast of a wallet but will be interesting to know how you like it after a few months of use
Man, its great! since ive got the large bifold, and am a front pocket user, its pretty much conformed to my thigh/quad! haha im so glad to hear you ordered one :)
Looks like a good solid wallet . I dabbled in leatherworking for a while but I mostly made knife sheaths and things like that. I would have liked to seen the stitching on the corner handled better or perhaps a little better hidden. Probably was doubled stitched there since it was sewn by machine. The edges looked rough which is ok and a thing a lot of makers do. I think a burnished edge would hold up better and also look better but that could be seen as a personal opinion. I'm sure it's a fine wallet and will last as long as they say. Like I said where I've dabbled in leather working I can tend to nit pick a bit on these types of things.
@@ThoseBackPages I collect a little bit of everything,Coins, Medals, Frank frazetta art books,Ball cards and other things....Maybe referring to myself as a collector isnt right...I think I might be a hoarder..LOL
Just found your channel. This is the 2nd video I've watched. Looking forward to finding some time in the near future to start from video 1. Wanted to offer a suggestion for NON wallet users. Short Version; Google Duck Bill Money Clip. TL;DR Version Continue; I grew up using a wallet and never really found it comfortable. It always looked a tad like yours at the beginning. So around turn of the century I started just wrapping my carried items in a long receipt. A good temporary solution and use for those toilet paper-esc CVP receipts. I feel like it started when I went to the store one day and was wearing shorts or sweat pants. Just grabbed the $ and my card. When I got the receipt I just used it to wrap everything back together. Never went back to a wallet. Flash forward to early 2008. Met my now wife for the 1st time. For Christmas that year, she sent me a Duck Bill Money Clip. Engraved with my name. Since I enjoy ducks, and my now wife thought it was horrifying i wrapped my money and cards in a CVP receipt, and the clip resembles a duck, It was an obvious gift. They are listed ATM for $33 bucks on the site. Lifetime Guarentee. 12 years, 3 months later, it has not yet been replaced. It is easily one of, if not the best "every day" products I have personally every used. The only thing i carry daily that is older than this money clip is 2 keys. 1 is broken and from the house I grew up in and the 2nd is the house my parents own. Think 38? And 22? Years respectively. When I got married in 2013, I bought one of my best friends one, there is a duck connection here but don't want to drag out this comment any longer, as a groomsman gift. His also still is working in prime condition. Almost now 8 years later. Wanted to just pass this along. Saw your board in the back says "Share Your Knowledge". I thought it might be interesting for those who; watch/have just found/will find in the future, your channel and might not use a wallet but instead use a money clip, or might be deciding, as I did so long ago, navigating away from a wallet, or looking at thinner wallets, but might want another suggestion to look into. As while CVP toilet paper toll length receipts are still (2021-02-21) a "thing", I'd agree with my wife, its not the best way to carry around your money and credit cards and whatnot. Great video dude. Look forward to getting the time to check out more.
That slab isn’t gonna fit in there. I remember seeing a company that buys up old mlb gloves and turns them into wallets. Imagine a Brooks Robinson or Ozzie.
