hi, the back and sides have to be a lot shorter for the look you're going for! i say this as someone with thick wavy hair who had a very short pixie cut for like 6 years. cut your hair like a triangle, so the middle/front is the longest and it gets shorter towards your ears/temples and your neck. that's how they get it to look tapered instead of blocky. there are tricks for getting a good angle, like that "pulling it outward to cut" thing that you tried. you can look up "faux hawk diagrams" for a visual on the shape.. pixie cut diagrams wouldnt be as good since they don't have shaved sides. anyway it already looks amazing but i think that's why it wasn't what you expected
Love this video and lesson here that i really need to learn myself “ give it time and you will ether love it or hate but at least you gave it a chance”
I enjoy your videos so much. You're so... free about your hair and about experimenting with it. Can't believe how well you kept it together after seeing the suboptimal result. The pics of how you styled it later looked very good as well, so I am glad you're happy with it now!

I feel ya. I always have my hair in a pony tail.. but I also can't have boy-short hair. Been there, done that. Never again. Looks awful! Man it looked good the day before, when it was still wet and slightly curled. You can def. Rock that.
I like that she is fearless to what she did as a first time approach. All she had to do is comb all her hair to the front, tie it in a pony tail at the front, pull the hair tie to the length she wanted, and cut it off. Instant layers, and then work on the bangs. Done in 5 minutes.

She shaved the sides of her hair but still has way more hair than I do on my entire head. I suffer from alopecia and I have very thinned out hair, but watching someone else create art with their hair is so satisfying to watch! 💜
Really trying to focus on the hairstyle but how can someone be like that beautiful? Like omg you’re literally the reason I found out I might be bi..
“I look like an egg”😹 lol ur cute
Ha! I thought she said, “okay, I would like an egg” I’m like yeah that sounds yummy right now
@@ashleyemma6894 haha, 🤣 @ Funny🤗
hi, the back and sides have to be a lot shorter for the look you're going for! i say this as someone with thick wavy hair who had a very short pixie cut for like 6 years. cut your hair like a triangle, so the middle/front is the longest and it gets shorter towards your ears/temples and your neck. that's how they get it to look tapered instead of blocky. there are tricks for getting a good angle, like that "pulling it outward to cut" thing that you tried. you can look up "faux hawk diagrams" for a visual on the shape.. pixie cut diagrams wouldnt be as good since they don't have shaved sides.
anyway it already looks amazing but i think that's why it wasn't what you expected
I wish you’d kept your hair textured, having it flipped to the side looked so good!
I like how you're always like "I'm just going to do something sort of like this, you know?"
“my hair is too thick and too full” girl you LUCKY i want that thick of hair
me too i have a stress disorder that makes me lose hair and my hair is pretty thin sadly
Same, my full head of hair is like hers with sides shaved
omg I watched you when I was younger and I’m bugging out. The memories 😭❤️
Im 19 now and I watch her since 2015. Its crazy how time flies. I changed so much but I still have the same excitement to watch her videos.
I'm surprised you haven't just shaved your whole head yet lol
She has
YES. HAIR ON THE NECK IS SUCH AN UNCOMFORTABLE FEELING. THANK YOU.
Looks way cuter all wavy and natural, a lot softer and suits you more I think
Girl give yourself credit! You're amazing at hair 😍
haha oh gosh, thank you for saying so
Love this video and lesson here that i really need to learn myself “ give it time and you will ether love it or hate but at least you gave it a chance”
Oh man, that side shave after months of not cleaning it up just feels SO GOOD. It just makes me feel clean, or something hahahah
I enjoy your videos so much. You're so... free about your hair and about experimenting with it. Can't believe how well you kept it together after seeing the suboptimal result. The pics of how you styled it later looked very good as well, so I am glad you're happy with it now!
You have about 40% of your hair on your head and that still more hair than my full 100%, I'm so mad at my genetics you have no idea
We all love you, with or without hair
Never clicked so fast
You popped up in my recommended videos and it’s cool that you did because it’s amazing to see you be so free with your hair. Many people are scared to just cut it off. Thanks for being awesome!!!
Short hair is so cute on you!!! Love the look when you sweep the top to the side and back!
for a second i thought you were going to end up with a mullet
Personally, I think the curly, messy mohawk is ADORABLE
Here's an idea : Push everything to the front and wear it messy (gel and wax will help)
Yes those curls 😍
lmao i love how the whole time she's like "lol wtf am i even doing??" but then she looks fkn sick as per usual at the end
My god that looks so good on her!! she's so gorgeous
this video is a whole mood and i’m LIVING for it!
The hair is absolutely beautiful, I love the length and it just is so shiny and so gorgeous.
i feel like in 20 years ull still be as gorgeous as this u literally dont age xd
I love that you use that broken mirror so skillfully! ❤️
It’s crazy to think that I started watching her channel like five years ago
When your hair was on the left side, your right side, it reminded me of Andy's hairstyle from The Old Guard.
Damn, I've seen a lot of function of beauty ads but you actually made it good. I don't think I've ever been interested in a product but the way you presented it was so good.
My emotional attachment to my hair could never ;-;
Woah, in the pictures it looks absolutely bomb! The clipped style also looked great on you. It was a good decision, rock that mohawk!

I got so worried half way through this that you were gonna end up looking like Zorg from the fifth element 🙈 but it looks so cute ❤️ love love love
I tried a similar hairstyle and I ended up like Zorg... 🤣
i've been following you for a few years now, i remember like yesterday when you were constantly changing dreads with just music in the background. I love to hear your voice! you are so nice :3
I feel ya. I always have my hair in a pony tail.. but I also can't have boy-short hair. Been there, done that. Never again. Looks awful! Man it looked good the day before, when it was still wet and slightly curled. You can def. Rock that.
You can also try lightly slicking it back with gel and leaving a few pieces in the front...LOVE THE HAIR BTW!!💯
It's quite satisfying watching you cut your hair without being dramatic. Hayah bless you to know him as well.
YOU LOOK SO CUTE WHEN YOUR HAIR IS SLICKED BACKKK OMG
AAhhh,
the iconic broken mirror
That never gets old
This video is so fun to watch. The look is different but still awesome 😎
Yay, thank you!
How did you comment a whole day ago? The video has been up for like 5 mins and I clicked the second it got uploaded lmao
Queen Kitsunae it’s magic isn’t it?
Queen Kitsunae its called group member
@@criacriaturas Ah, I had wondered! Thanks for explaining ☺️
I like that she is fearless to what she did as a first time approach. All she had to do is comb all her hair to the front, tie it in a pony tail at the front, pull the hair tie to the length she wanted, and cut it off. Instant layers, and then work on the bangs. Done in 5 minutes.
IT LOOKS REALLY GOOD WHEN YOU SLICK IT BACK/HAVE IT BACK BUT STILL BE FLUFFY!!!
You have a lot of hair, even with the sides shaved. I loved the green 😭😭😭
The hair looks way better when it’s not straightened!
Me: "HOW THE HELL DOES SHE PULL OFF ANY HAIRSTYLE?!
Husband: *knew exactly whose video I was watching*
Made me laugh, so glad to see you again :)

I'd 100% keep it messy and curly instead of straightening it 🖤 it looked so cute when you were messing around with it curly and wet.
This video made me smile alot. I used to cut my hair all the time too. It's 11 months dread loc'ing now 💖 I asked my sister to shave me bald once and she did. I was fine with it. Everyone else treated me so weird though.
brad mondo should watch this & give you a personalized tutorial!
