I sit almost dead across from the pagoda..... the plane that didn't peel off flew so low it vanished behind the pagoda and you didn't see it again until it went roaring overhead. Made a few people jump.
As much as I believe that they are the second best aerial demonstration team in the world (after the US Navy Blue Angels), I do have to admit that they did an excellent job there. Their time on target was nearly perfect, separating at the beginning of the word "Home".
Why do you think they're second best? I think the Blues are more popular, but the Tbirds fly as close as the Blue Angels, in smaller jets, while also going nearly 100 mph faster. Their shows seem a bit more polished than the BA shows in recent years too IMO
Nobody does a flyover like the Indianapolis Motor Speedway!
I was in the infield when that happened, I almost had a heart attack feeling the jets fly over the Pogoda
I felt a burst of adrenaline when they flew over

I was second row directly across the pagoda and yeah, I didn't know that last one was coming. It was pretty awesome though.
