      Usind Density bottle. You have to determine density for every sample to calculate surface tension.
      Density=mass/volume

    Thank you sir, few question related to surfactants used to separate oil-water emulsions:
    1. After the CMC is achieved, how much more surfactant needs to be added for oil to separate from water?
    2. After oil is recovered, it will contain our surfactant used, can we separate the oil and surfactant if we want to re-use the oil?
    Anyone can please help if they know please?

      Welcome dear;
      Surfactant mostly used for stabilization of oil and water system.. though some cationic surfactants can be used for separation but it depends on Charges and Temperature 🌡️.

      Sir, if we have a mix of powder, oil and water
      We saw cationic surfactants work well there
      Some doubts were there as we have not done practical experiments over this,
      The top layer will have oil + surfactant
      Middle will have water
      Botoom will have powder settled, right sir?
      By decantation, we can separate oil and surfactant, but if we want to reuse the oil, can we separate the surfactamt from it?
      Like, centrifugation technique will work there?

      Oil which is used in rolling mills, like, rollwell 50
      Cationic Surfactant-
      Mix of cationic surfactants CPC-DTAB-TTAB, as they gave a low CMC value.
