You must visit EL NIDO and CORON in Palawan. The most beautiful Island in the World with its beautiful limestone rocks formation cliffs, Crystal clear blue and green water, beautiful white sand Beaches and diving sites. You can enjoy kayaking at the big lagoon and see a secret lagoon surrounded by beautiful limestone rocks around. Philippines have lots of Beautiful places to visit and explore....

Also, the Philippine christmas season is the world's longest (Oct-Dec) and is an experience all by itself. January is festival month. The biggest and famous ones like Dinagyang, Sinulog, Masskara, Ati-atihan, etc., are all celebrated in January. The Philippine summer (March to June) can be quite unrelenting and can be unpleasant for first-time travelers to the country. Avoid visiting during these months, if your schedule and travel plans allow.

Hmmm compared to the usual picturesque videos of beaches and islands I see in the Philippines, that (Port Barton’s) isn’t quite at par with the others. Then again it’s probably the rain. I wonder why they made it the first stop. The simplicity of the place and the quiet atmosphere of Port Barton is more appreciated after you’ve had a fill of all the touristy spots.
Time is changing it is the first time as far i remember it rain heavily in April a summertime.usually starting January seldomly raining but typhoon in march and April oh no it's unusual.
It's a La Nina year, so the weather patterns are all messed up. It's raining a lot more than usual. Normally, the Philippines is very dry from February to early June.
The Philippines gets the freshest typhoons every so many times a year. Yes, "freshest." So typhoons are definitely nothing new and Filipinos mention it casually, and pick themselves up and go/move on with their lives ..... as another typhoon brews around the corner.

For diving, I highly recommend going to the Tubbataha Reef just below Palawan. It's best diving spot in the world.
