Something else that wasn't mentioned: What's the point in chosing the level that you want to start with at the start of the match if everyone else is gonna choose level 1-1.

Owen Kammer you have to reach the flag pole in a stage to unlock it. Use the warp pipes in level 1-2 to go through the random order faster. The pipes go from right to left in the next sequence of stages. So take the left most pipe and you skip 3 stages ahead. Or choose the warp level again and try to jump ahead more.

A new level is unlocked if you have 1 clear on all your unlocked levels.

I feel like one thing that would make this game have better pacing is a sudden death round. Once the game has passed like 5 minutes or so, or there is only 3 people left, they make you play a level from the lost levels.

I wouldn't necessarily mean 'market-wise' considering how the game is free and has no in-game purchases. I believe the proper saying would be that Nintendo is kind of scaring off their audience if they shut down the servers.

You know, Nathaniel Bandy is one of those big pretty well-known youtubers you see around that you expect to have 1 million subscribers or something but are surprised to find out he still doesn't somehow even though he gets millions of views on many videos. This man deserves 1 million by now!
I hated that instead of simply letting players play the stages in order, it forced the players to play a random stage, most of the time being 1-1, rarely letting players play new stages. Warp zone instead of having the traditional warps had a short selection most being world 1-1 and voting on a level doesn’t matter since you ALWAYS start on 1-1.

Edit: I feel like if they did what they did with Super Mario Maker 1 and let you play as both Mario characters and other characters from other games, (Link, Samus, etc.) it would have been such a great feature. Especially since it's basically a battle royale, innit?

U missed the fact they copied a fan game called "mario royale" after they acused it for copyright reasons so it was deleted. These bastards!!!
They're somewhat different, the fangame was a race to the finish type, while Mario 35 is more like Tetris 99 (judging from the style, haven't played it yet)

When you get a mushroom or fire flower, when you already have that said power-up, it doesn't hold, so you basically waste 20 coins for a useless item, what's worse is that it doesn't refund you the coins back

Bandy is the one person I know (aside from Dashie) that can make skits that involve clones of himself and make them funny. Even way back when he first did it in his first Mario Kart DS list, it was hilarious
