    Keep these coming! There is SO much about ZBrush that I didn't know about. Thanks Danny!

    Finally they do something with the project they killed ages ago. Still kinda salty that sculptris has been left behind as a 'zbrush lite'

    Had some time to test it out. I totally see where they're going. Changing the nature of the sculpt and on-the-fly brush convert to triangles gives more control. Maybe a wink towards what the bright future of poly-sculpting. For now polygroupit will suffice. :D

    whats the difference between tessimate and sculptris pro mode?
    In your previuos video tessimate looks way more useful

    • @Ernesto_Alvarez
      @Ernesto_Alvarez 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok, just started playing with zbrush 2018 and I found out
      The difference is that tessimate is only a setting that lets you tesselate the mesh is a fixed way, while with sculptris pro mode it works doing dynamic triangulacion that looks like a real time tessimation feature.
      I'm sad because from the tessimation video looked like you can dynamically tessimate to lower or higher resolution, but the change is static after you make any changes, the only advantage over dynamesh is the ability to change the resolution without undoing.
      I believed it was like a mix between subdiv+dynamesh

      You got it, though it has more benefits over Dynamesh because it affords a significantly lower poly count, since tessellation only occurs where it's required (which is pretty major)

    When you get to the once about the new project primitive feature, i have a question. Once you add a primitive, can you go back to previous projections and adjust those? or once you hit accept are the committed for good? thx and keep up the great work with those tutorials.

    what is backslashkey??

    • @zdspider6778
      @zdspider6778 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      This is a forward slash: /
      This is a backslash: \
      Easy way to remember is when you're writing (in a non-Arab free part of the world), you write in this direction: ---> So that's your forward. The slash is "leaning" forward. Hence, forward slash. And the backslash is obviously in the other direction.

    Hey Danny, has Zbrush 2018 changed alot of your workflow??

    • @DannyMac3d
      @DannyMac3d  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Luiza Diniz to be honest, not really. The updates were focussed on things I don't do very much. I really like the curve updates though!

    • @MrZelda1313
      @MrZelda1313 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, same here. I'm starting to use it and some of my friends said that they don't even use dynameh anymore because of sculptris pro and I'm like "how?!". Cause I love combining low poly meshes and building my model from different parts instead of just pushing and creating mesh from nothing.

    What exactly is sculptris? I'm confused

    • @DannyMac3d
      @DannyMac3d  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In this context it's a new feature inside zbrush. The code was taken from their sister app called sculptris
