Your point about the humour: I have literally been saying this, ADAMANTLY, for *years* now! Thank you! The original games didn’t take themselves TOO seriously and knew when and how to break tension and lighten things up, be it a quick joke, a snarky remark, or a cheesy but awesome one liner. Ever since Reach, that stopped happening. It’s understandable with Reach, because it wasn’t a main Halo game in a sense: it was a prequel about a sad, distressing story, and it didn’t focus on the main cast of characters. Even ODST, which was also fairly deep in tone at times, managed to have a fair bit of lighthearted ribbing and playful dialogue throughout. Literally the only examples of this in Halo 4 and 5 were little off-shoot Easter egg type encounters that barely made most people’s playthroughs and felt like very cheap and easy “jokes” rather than playful parts of the actual story/gameplay. I’ve always said the original games felt like they were playable versions of cheesy but cool 90’s action films, and the one liners were an integral part of that formula. So I am absolutely THRILLED to see those elements making a huge comeback!

I agree a lot of people have criticisms and I think it’s just because it’s not bungee but at the same time you’re riding off complaints as automatically being because it’s not bungee of other people is just as stupid as what they do. Like you’re being just as dumb and tribal. Maybe they just have genuine reasonable complaints or genuinely don’t like the game. For you to just say it’s because it’s not Bungie it’s pretty stupid
Halo CE: Master Chief, Cortona, and Echo419 rally UNSC forces to fight the covenant on a Halo ring Halo Infinite: Master Chief, The Weapon, and the Pilot, rally UNSC forces to fight the banished on a Halo Ring
They better bring back Fireteam Osiris. Maybe not as playable characters, but maybe play along side with them on one or two missions. They should do the same with Blue Team, by letting you fight with them but not the whole time like in Halo 5.
there needs to be a Creig Easter Egg where there is just 1 single random Brute placed in a spot in an idle animation, no helmet, and no facial animation, and then when the player sees him, have a name tag appear that says "Creig" lol

I see a lot of people complaining about base raiding, about how it's just like farcry. But honestly, if they're giving us an open world and a ton of freedom with the combat, I'd be disappointed if they didnt give us a ton of bases to try out different things on.
I think they're definitely improving from the games previously released id still say they dont completely understand halo but definitely hoping this is going to be a refreshing title I'm just worried about the open world concept id of like a more traditional halo campaign the concept of it being open is for sure going to be interesting but im a little skeptical of it being greater than if it was more constricted letting you do what you want freely is what worries me it kind of sidetracks the importance of the story.

Co-op campaign in this sandbox will/would be amazing
Just can’t wait to play a good halo it’s been 10yr since last one
In the end, I'd rather take the best of what 343 has accomplished, continue to water those seeds & support them. Taking some time to revisit Halo 4 & 5 has shown me that, regardless of their rocky start, 343 shows continual improvement. I truly believe that they will get their legs and Infinite will continue to show for it.
I think that it looks AWESOME, bit Mark my words, people are still going to complain about something because it's not bungie
Always will be true sadly.
They're already complaining about it. 🤣
Tbh today's bungie isn't even the bungie that made halo
True, but we shouldn't go dismissing all criticism as just being Bungie fanboys. There's always room for improvement, whether 343 or Bungie.
still in 1:55 when he said that the marines r safe well they werent he just threw them off a cliff
Halo CE: Master Chief, Cortona, and Echo419 rally UNSC forces to fight the covenant on a Halo ring
Halo Infinite: Master Chief, The Weapon, and the Pilot, rally UNSC forces to fight the banished on a Halo Ring
Congrats on taking on content full time!!! 😁
They better bring back Fireteam Osiris. Maybe not as playable characters, but maybe play along side with them on one or two missions. They should do the same with Blue Team, by letting you fight with them but not the whole time like in Halo 5.
did anyone else hear that slight guitar dive sound in that 6:40 ♥ ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Awesome points mate, loved the video!!!
there needs to be a Creig Easter Egg where there is just 1 single random Brute placed in a spot in an idle animation, no helmet, and no facial animation, and then when the player sees him, have a name tag appear that says "Creig" lol
Good thing a new halo is coming out! Must be a bit scary to be leaving your job for you tube. Sure hope the content is going to be enough to keep you going. Just followed your twitch!
HALO 1 STILL THE BEST OF THE FRANCHISE.
This is going to beat it
I've been one of the biggest 343 haters for the last 10ish years.
I can say with full transparency that they're bringing me back and I'm happy with what I've seen and played so far.
C'mon 343, make me love you.
Was anticipating a Shia Labeouf insert for 4:09
Thought about it, but was short on time with editing haha
I see a lot of people complaining about base raiding, about how it's just like farcry. But honestly, if they're giving us an open world and a ton of freedom with the combat, I'd be disappointed if they didnt give us a ton of bases to try out different things on.
we gonna talk about how the brute in 2:11 has armor lock
It's not armour lock, he's crouching to avoid the chopper and his shields just so happen to be low, greating the glow effect
Kids, this is why you do your homework, and 343 has absolutely done theirs based on everything we’ve seen. I cannot wait for this game to come out!
