  • Ryobi ONE+ 18V Speaker with Bluetooth Wireless Technology - www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE...
    -----------------------------------------------------------
This RYOBI 18V ONE+ Bluetooth Speaker is one of the best Bluetooth speakers RYOBI has ever made. RYOBI says it has a new Smart Amplifier Technology that delivers powerful sound. RYOBI goes as far as to claim that the new PAD01B is 8.5X more clear than the P746. We can hear that!
The RYOBI PAD01B Bluetooth Speaker ha a great wireless range of 125 ft. and a runtime of about 2.25 hours per Amp Hour battery used. A RYOBI 18V ONE+ 4.0 Ah battery will get you about 10 hours of runtime.
The RYOBI 18V ONE+ Bluetooth Speaker has a 2.1 Amp USB charging port located next to the power/volume/forward buttons. Voice prompts indicate power on/off and Bluetooth connection.
This Speaker is backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.

Great review, not being a hybrid is a dealbreaker for me, I would pay extra for the ability to run it on AC, maybe the next version, thanks.
    UPDATE!!
I recently wrote that because the speaker was not a hybrid it was a deal breaker for me, I couldn’t be more wrong, I heard the speaker at my local HD and pulled the trigger. WOW the bass and clarity is outstanding!! The battery life is also outstanding!!. I recently used it during a renovation for 8 hours at more than 50% volume on a 4.0 battery and still had 4 bars left on the battery. If your on the fence buy it, you won’t be be disappointed!! Great job Ryobi

I may have been one of the few that noticed this speaker for sale before they actually advertised. I bought one immediately. Put up a kind of example on youtube because there was no reviews. Not much of a reaction ha ha... I'm not a pro reviewer. But I can say... It's worth it's salt so far. Very pleased. And it's another way to help keep my batteries conditioned!

Google Home Minis are great for making speaker groups. When I use bluetooth to my ryobi speaker/s, they are almost always out of sync with my other google minis. For that reason I installed a google home mini inside my small ryobi radio. Works awesome. Totally synchronised. Use it every single day. Will be installing a google home mini in my larger ryobi speaker too.

Yes, if you have a Samsung they will pair two speakers at once, and possibly other phones but I can't speak for those. Just go to dual audio in your Bluetooth settings. Mine even has a Bluetooth metronome so you can time the delay if it's off a little bit from room to room.

I'm in the market for a bluetooth speaker, but am hoping to find one that can either run corded or on battery. Also I would prefer a Ryobi since I really like their tools I own so far. I kinda wish though they made one for the 40V line because I have a small fortune invested in 40V batteries.
So I can assume on this model that charging takes place on an external charger and the speaker is exclusively DC?

I'll add my 2c, had the P746 Ryobi which is the hybrid one with FM radio. Always felt the FM sounded not very appealing. After about 4 years of infrequent use it just stopped working. I pulled it apart and it looked very cheap inside!! Sadly it had to go in the bin as was unable to make it work again. It did have good sound when paired with Bluetooth. Its a bit sad so many features of the P746 model which is also still for sale in Aust. is absent from this unit. Am tempted, but know its handy having the radio ability - ability to walk away and not leave your phone nearby (especially if out and you need to go back to the car, or go to bathroom and your friends get to listen to the speaker crackle and lose connection.

I Forgot The Volume Was Up
& I Almost Blasted My Ears Off.
Till I Turned It Down Right Away.
    & I Thought I Blew The Speakers.
But I Remembered It Has Smart
    Amplifire To Stop Distortion
    Due To Voicecoil Overload.

With a case that large, it'd be nice if there was a storage space large enough to hold a phone. So if the user is doing work in a location that requires moving around, the phone is secured with it and less likely to have the screen get scratched up.

The score sound system wit Ska's technology sounds great, mono only and up to 5 speakers including radio base. About $100 for the first set base and speaker. Unfortunately they don't carry it anymore at the stores my guess is that there was not enormous gh sense. I myself own two radio base units and 5 additional speakers used outdoors and indoors works great.

One larger speaker on the Milwaukee compared to two on the ryobi. I think the ryobi sounds better, but if you were looking for sound quality, you would be looking at JBL as they have rocking stuff in this price range. I am not sure how to answer this as the Milwaukee has more features.
