I love.. How our old dramaz showed us the strongest bond between Allah and Insan... The scene was so strong and emotional and so heart throbbing when khirad was crying like a child in front of Allah on her prayer mat.... Drama makers have now lost their moral values and religious values... They should make such dramaz or scenes at least which beautifies the relation between Allah azwajal and Insan ❤

Zgh and humsafar both are great. No need to compare. Zgh was hit bcz of it's story while humsafar won ppl's heart with a simple story .mahira and fawad's chemistry made this drama hit! Mahira and fawad are the best jodi of Pakistan!

What makes a good father is how he treats the mother of their children. I love this drama but Asher is toxic, just like his mother! It’s hard to watch his scenes with Khirad, such amazing strength she has, what a character!

Even if Asher becomes "good" again, I hope she never forgives him. He is a weak, spineless, cowardly "man". He needs someone to "adjust his nose" (can't really say what I really want to say).
I agree. He is a weak and coward man. He failed to communicate with Khirad about his issues and never dealt with is issues. This shows how insecure he really is. Ashar needs someone to give him a reality check to show him how he ruined his relationships with everyone. He ruined is relationship with his wife, his mother, and hurt in best friend. He caused all of the problems
It makes no sense to be in a relationship with someone that you can’t trust at all. Khirad doesn’t know why Ashar acted that way. You can’t fix a problem if you don’t know where it’s coming from
I don’t agree he is a weak man. He is soft and compassionate, but has been poisoned by two women most close to him, who he unfortunately trust, but they are snakes, one under the cover of mother and one under the cover of best friend. He doesn’t have any trust worthy to bounce his thoughts with. If he was not compassionate, he wouldn’t have married on his father’s insistence. If he was cowardly, the drama wouldn’t end the way it does. He doesn’t have to become good, he just needs to be aware of the truth. At least he is not the kind that if one relationship hasn’t worked, he has jumped on another within span of four years.
Yes, compared to him, Khirad has evolved, with nil desires for herself, and being more pure, with the sole intent of welfare for her child in her heart. This purity becomes her strength. Reaching to such a level in life is marvelous.
Not letting go of past harms the most, who holds on to it. Holding fire in heart doesn’t burn others, it burns the heart, makes it sour, where it is held. Wisdom is to learn the lesson about humanness, but shed off the emotional baggage. If Khirad doesn’t do it, it will affect her daughter’s life, which has now become the only reason of her life.
@@a0b9180 Ashar had no reason to believe that his own mother would lie to him however, he still should have talked to Khirad about his discomfort with her taking to Khizer. Sara told Ashar clearly in the first or second episode that she had feelings for him but he didn’t have a serious talk with her about it until near the end. He still hung out with Sara even after she clearly told him how she felt yet he gets upset that Khirad made a male friend. Sara is someone who clearly tells people how she feels and her boundaries while Ashar isn’t clear about his feelings and boundaries. Ashar should have distanced himself from Sara once he learned she had feelings for him but he didn’t. So much of this could have been prevented if he had clearly communicated his feelings and boundaries to his loved ones. What do you think? At the end of the day it can’t be denied that if Ashar had communicated his feelings to his loved ones a lot of this could have been prevented.
He isnot a weak man but he isnot a good husband his mistake destroyed his happiness and his daughter's initial 4 yrs of life.

It's a story and not real life. The author can write characters that change and evolve even if that's something unrealistic to us. Not every author has a duty to give a morality lesson where a woman has to leave the man who hurt her. Sure, women should do that in real life but fiction should be an escape from the reality that most men are trash
I've lost count of how many times I've watched this drama from episode 15 onwards! Such excellent acting by Fawad and Mahira but Zindigi Gulzar Hai was even better; I've watched that many more times for the acting as well as positive story.

Ashar never saw his mother as someone bad. I do wonder if he had seen the note 4 years ago, would that of prevented everything? I actually don’t think so. At that time he didn’t see his mother as someone who would do such a thing. In this episode Hareem tells him that his mother yells and fights a lot. He seems shocked since he never imagined he acting like this. Only now does he hear about her yelling. He blindly believed his mother since this was unimaginable to him. He didn’t understand the true obsession Sara had for him at that time. He thought she would get over him with time. It took him some time to see how obsessed Sara was with him and that her feelings had grown with time. So I don’t think he would of understood the letter if he had read it years ago. He didn’t understand the true nature of his mother
