Thanks for sharing your thoughts Tom, and I totally agree this makes 3D more accessible for all users, especially beginners. Between the Onscreen View Cube, 3D Space Mouse, and a number pad, we will never get lost in model space (Design Layers) again! Thanks for sharing this sneak peek!

Hi Jake, yes there are now so many sweet new ways to interact with your 3d models in vectorworks. I have not tried the 3D Spacemouse yet but hear good things. What do you think?

Looks cool, but number keys will be quicker. I will have to test this once the Dutch version is ready.

Maybe but not on a laptop and its nicer for beginners and presentation modes

Its a nice informative video. Thank you Jonathan. But i have one important feature the vectorworks team could add to the Site modifier and hardscape with modifier tools. Thats is it would be great if there is the a modifier tool similar to "Retaining edge modifier" but with adjustible top pad using vertice points. Am not satisfied with the retaining edge modifier as it modifies the surrounding model not the pad itself when working with its vertices. Hope we would see the upcoming videos soon. Thanks again.

Yes, it's really easy to use and very intuitive, and another nice way to view 3d models in Vectorworks.

These are Vectorworks Rendermall plants that are available in my enhanced workspace in the visualisation pallet. They are good quality, fast and you can change the size and even seasons! If you purchase my bundle I will include the workspace for you? jonathanreeves-cad.co.uk/product/vectorworks-cad-libraries/

Will the new 3D viewer allow you to hold down 2 fingers and spin around? Similar to Onshape or Fusion 360? That would better than the cube, I will probably never turn on that onscreen view control.
