Smartphone connectivity contributes to an enhanced motorcycling experience by enabling riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly.
Clever technology enables riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly. Using the smartphone application “RIDEOLOGY THE APP” a number of instrument functions can be accessed, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience. Vehicle information (such as the odometer, fuel gauge, maintenance schedule, etc) can be viewed on the smartphone. Riding logs (varies by model, but may include GPS route, gear position, rpm, and other information) can be viewed on the smartphone. When connected, telephone (call, mail) notices are displayed on the instrument panel. Riders can also make changes to their motorcycle’s instrument display settings (preferred units, clock and date setting, etc) via the smartphone. And on certain models, it is even possible to check and adjust vehicle settings (such as Rider Mode, electronic rider support features, and payload settings) using the smartphone.

I can do all that through the dash. Make an app that allows complete tuning with fuel mapping and I’ll be impressed. All they did was add a built in tracking device to the hardware that gathers information for them to sell. Most common routes, top speed on public roads, home location, current location…. All on a file.

Thank you for showing how to pair to my new ZX10-R motorcycle and the options too. Love the attention to detail and how you actually show what to press too. Would be awesome if they offered where you could go into a 'pro tune' mode from the app and fine tune the Air to Fuel mixture from the app.

Logs lean angle and speed but not turn by turn. That would be a nice feature for them to add on though 👍👍

So is it possible to turn off the wheelie control? For instances on the fly I want to wheelie but I may not want to wheelie every time I ride
Yup. You can change rider modes on the fly. Just customize one rider mode with it off and one with it on and then you can switch between them while you ride.

None of those features work on android. Litterally all you get is pairing and it will read the current bikes settings. You cant change anything and it will not create a working log. Utter garbage (on my 2020 Z900)
agree i try different phones and tablet. You cant change anything in the tunning section.

so u cant change anything of the bikes settings if u dont have a phone or a tablet, thats pretty shit if thats the case and if you can do it with out a device it sort of makes the app pointless

Did you try reporting it through the app feedback? I’ve heard of some devices working and others not
I am not sure all that technology will be useful riding a Superbike. I miss an automatic chronometer and other things useful to spend a joyful track day. Reading sms on a screen is not the best thing to do with a 200HP Superbike...
you can't read an sms on screen it just shows an icon that you got unread sms .

Just a way to quickly change settings. You can also change them from the dash. All new superbikes have a lot more electronics built in than older ones.
@@wildwhiskeywolf Oh i get it ut it takes away from the bike...Personally i get more satisfaction outta wrenchin my suspension,decideing how much power via the wrist n brain connection..Some of it is baby sitter type tech..I have same feeling about the big rig i drive..Hate that company has all auto shift trucks...Its like your looseing touch with the reason you bought a bike for in the 1st place...Its the reason why i still have a gen 3 and a 35 yr old gpz...Not so electronically dependant..Thats just me...No offence or dis on the op's vid....
