Two ideas to make this run easier: 1. The Dark Wood Grain ring gives you 2 more s and crops 4 recovery fromes from your roll. This is obviously super useful as rolling is the only thing you'll do in this run. You can get it early by taking an alternate path to Darkroot Garden: just go down to Darkroot Basin and climb up the ladder near the hydra. Killing Shiva's bodyguard isn't a problem either, you can just kick him off the ledge and quit out to spawn his drops. The surrounding NPCs will only aggro once you quit and reload. If you have trouble with getting to the ladder, you can quickly visit the Undead Asylum to get the Rusted Iron RIng. 2. Nito can become significantly easier if you don't aggro any skeletons. This may sound impossible, but if you wear the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring or the Ring of Fog and stay at your starting location they won't notice you. If you don't want to buy the Dragoncrest Ring from Griggs you can also get the Ring of Fog by trading a Skull Lantern with Snuggly.
The only problem with this is that GamersWeekend tried the grain ring, and ruled it out. Rolls are already kinda finnicky with the hitboxes and the dark wood grain only made it worse, he also said it made it harder to "stick" to bosses, which is bad since you really gotta stay up on them.

Also, I just realized that one of the key differences between the two franchises is how the healing works: In Dark Souls and Elden Ring, healing takes only a few seconds but plays into the vulnerability of standing still for even that amount of time. In Monster Hunter: World, healing takes a lot longer, is gradual instead of instant, and there isn't much immediate danger because you can just make space, but even when you're really good at the game, the emphasis on tanking attacks in favor or doing damage and having so many be hard or borderline impossible to dodge is what puts the difficulty in healing. It slowly chips away at your supplies until either you've won the fight or you're too exhausted in resources to fight at the advantage of healing, and while you can just fast travel back to camp (which is a mistake honestly), you can still only work under so much stress, until either you break and forget to get your healing items, you get good enough to hardly need to re-stock, or you eventually win through attrition.
