It's so cool that Modders are able to turn this game to be more like dark souls 2. Very epic
The Undead Parish fog gate that just constantly looped in back to the same place was a nice homage to Dark Souls 3 I thought.

For reference the PvP fog gates are when you get invaded and the game locks you into a section of the map

Lots of people actively play both PTDE and Remastered. Also it's pretty easy for anyone to know where these fog gates are since usually they'll be placed where the game tells you you're changing area. You'll know it cause the game spells it out for you in huge characters.
@@streiphegaming9704 I finished DSR multiple times but offline because I pirated it years ago. This year I bought it and you'd be surprised, it's pretty active. If you are on undead parish near Andre you can hear the bell ringing almost non-stop, and you can find people to invade on almost every level bracket.
@@tsubasa5431 Do you know if anyone plays the original version? I never upgraded to the Remaster or PTDE, I just bought the disc then downloaded the DLC and I miss the PVP
@@scalycoronet5198 Invading on Ps3 was active about 3-4 months ago I remember invading multiple areas burg, Dukes archives, and Forest/township and getting different people. Haven't played on there in a while though don't know about pc because I haven't play PTDE since remastered came out.
Only thing left now is to combine this with the item randomizer
Then put the mod that makes every enemy either ornstein or Smough or their super forms.

Today I learned the plunging attack works on the Fire Sage Demon.
Also, the plunging attack works on every single Taurus Demon you meet in the Demon Ruins area - they are the same entity.
If that doesn't impress you, listen to this - it also works on the boars, and the giant rat.

The most impressive thing about this run is the (apparent) first try on Bed of Chaos.
look at the timer, he started it around 4;22 hrs into the game and he finished 4;23 100% first try :)

Fog gate randomizers when mixed with enemy and item randomizers are some of the most fun I've had with dark souls

How I expected this to go down:
Taurus demon fog gate -> plin plin plon
Tim's Games Done Hard mapped out the entire set of routes in his fog/enemy/item/npc randomizer, it's pretty damned impressive to see how the game manages to logic it all out.
Which side of the fog wall you go through NEEDS to matter. Otherwise it just wouldn't be possible to reach some areas because you'd always exit from the same side of the wall
8:40 "Randomize two way fog gates" can literally only mean randomizing the TWO different WAYS to go through a FOG GATE. "A two way fog gate goes both fuckin' ways" Yes and those both fuckin' ways are randomized
Well at least those absurdly obtrusive mid-level dividers that wipe your summon signs serve a purpose this way.
The last dsr fog gate randomizer I saw, it took the person the same amount of time to find nito alone as it took Aggy to beat the game

I just did an enemy randomizer and I had to reroll so much because I kept getting dlc bosses as early bosses like I had to fight a gargoyle and artorias and then the post lord vessel basically every boss was pinwheel
This would make for such an entertaining race category similar to ocarina of time randomizer races

its not an intended interaction, you normally cant get to that elevator that lets you drop into the arena before youve killed him. The drop attack animation happens i assume because it uses the same AI as asylum demon. Cool interaction nonetheless

Why do you never mash out of grab attacks? I think there are only like 2 grabs in the whole game you can't mash out of to either reduce or completely negate the damage you would take.

That is such a genius mod, holy crap
So, the 2-way fog gate only connects the two sides of the fog gate. The one you go into, and the one you exit. Going into fog gate 1 will lead to fog gate 2, but entering fog gate 1 from the opposite side of where you originally entered would lead you to fog gate 3 instead.
You got lost in the fog and returned to the Undead Parish
Aggy not making the connection that going through different sides of the same fog gate take you to different places, as if entering and exiting a door are the same action.

Do you not know that you can mash the shoulder buttons to break free from grabs, or do you just let them go for the content? Because you always take the maximum damage from all grab attacks, it looks like you don't realize you can break free from some of them taking literally _zero_ damage. Like the Gaping Dragon's grab, you can get out taking nothing, but you've let it one shot you before

It’s weird though… I just started playing dark souls three a couple of weeks ago, and started doing PVP for the first time when trying to max out the wolf covenant. It seems like the entire zone was fully open that I invading and made it difficult to find who I was invading so much of the time because of it. They didn’t size down the zone for PVP it seems. : /

@@anti-ethniccleansing465 DS3 is known for having jank PVP areana's. But DS1 tried to keep them limited.
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 the estus drinking is an exploit where you drink estus to bait Gwyn into throwing out a particular attack that is super easy to parry
Hi Lilaggy, any chance you can do a kicking only challenge. Watched someone do it but with loads of cheeses so it spoiled the run. A kick only challenge would be really fun and should test you :)
