@@vladescu3g They were always on the top since late 90's. No matter who sings their songs. I think Tarja is the best one from all 3 NW singers, but also Floor's voice fits for some Nightwish songs and they both are my favourite singers. ❤ Anette also sounds good. 😊
@@vladescu3g Who is the better singer is a debate that will never be agreed on - but I think it's safe to say that their best MUSIC was made up until and including Dark Passion Play. Their music after that just hasn't been on the same level.
@@pete3198 if you refer to music and lyrics like "told me to keep the sauna warm for him " you are right is not on the same lvl, they jumped quite a few steps up, some of the older music is quite naive wich i enjoyed as a kid, but someone who is all grown up to say that music was better is kinda laughable wich i hope not that many of you are.
It seems like they are completely not on the same page any more: talking about new album and touring the Guy makes really weird eyes and impressions on the face like " what are you talking about Tarja, what stressful, what's difficult". The split was inevitable. I think he was in love with her like for REAL , pure & innocent etc and that was essential that Tuomas was writing songs for Tarja. Just listen to Ever Dream or Sleeping Sun... Once was the end of an Era and the band itself. Nightwish kept on going but it's just not the same band anymore even though last album and the show with Floor in Cracov was amazing, its just business now, its so sad...
@@salt27dogg Don't think so. She met his soon to be husband in 1999-2000 and they got married in New Years Eve in 2002. And before meeting her husband she was in long term relationship. So maybe Tuomas was in love with Tarja but I don't think that Tarja was ever in love with Tuomas.

It started already earlier, when Marcelo as her manager began to take care of everything concerning Tarja in Nightwish. There's a book called Once Upon a Nightwish (the official biography 1996 - 2006), where they talk about those times.
Well ... we may know the steps which led to that ... If you see a video few years earlier, in there they are almost like cute brother and sister and soulmates ... and everything is nice and they say it by themselves. Difficult to say as an outsider but very very sad those later steps. I just wish they could be friends as they were already in childhood and teenage times.
i try to find that book very desperately, because i'm hungarian, and it hadn't been released here on ebay and amazon, it costs 61€ and more, can someone send me a pdf link, or send (or offer) a cheaper one?

It was so heart-breaking! I felt blue for many years after Tarja's leave. Even though I love the new Nw and the Floor Nw especially.

I saw an interview in 2002 with them and I saw Tarja’s body language say she was in love
