I love when Dr. Bob does an original scp that does not get much attention. Most of the first 1000 scps are actually really good, they just don't get the love they deserve.
Agreed, for all the well-known ones in that batch, there are tons of really great ones that don't seem to be as popular as they should be. The first thousand are highly underrated (aside from the obvious ones like shy guy or the lizard or the stairwell).
Yeah, that is why I used to be a fan of scp orientation, the youtube channel. For they actually explained each scp chronologically. Unfortunately, they were forced to stop making video, cause they were reported on for having suspicious thumbnails. But honestly, they did not do anything wrong besides the lewd thumbnails. Of course dr. Bob's animations are better then scp orientation just reading the scp article with some pictures. But it still sucks that they were taken down.
Abandoned psychiatric confinement hospitals are terrifying and remarkably plentiful in the US where they were almost all closed at the same time, and rarely converted to another purpose.
I like that this is just a straightforward haunting. No weird twists. No hidden surprises. It's just a good old-fashioned ghost story with a 'don't go into the abandoned place' lesson.

It's a shot in the dark but That would make a lot of cent to why he has access to a lot of Redacted and classified information then most times you have to be a level clearance three or higher to even look at it! we know how the foundation works you can’t just have level clearance three or a higher automatically you got put in a lot of years and you were going to make some shit shake and definitely contribute a ridiculous amount even have an IQ doctor Bright to finally get to that position. Plus the rest don't mind showing their face but he does? 🤔😵💫
SCPs that have horrors such as ghosts or anomalous creatures are cool and all, but the ones that include lives of eternal suffering, such as SCP 2535, really give me the chills! I’d love to see more of that kind in your future videos ;)
Honestly, I love how well made the videos are. I honestly enjoy seeing obscure or lesser known Scps being addressed. I know other people make videos of the same ones, but yours are some of the best in my opinion. I really hope you continue to make more!

With the number of D-class the foundation chews up daily, it’s surprising that there are ANY death row inmates who actually got executed in the SCP universe.
They presumably come from everywhere on earth and aren't necessarily only those on death row. I'd imagine they accept some inmates that received life in prison and didn't have anyone on the outside that would care if they disappeared. There are also foundation members who break the rules or "POWs" from their fight against the other factions. that's a pretty large pool of people

I work nights at a state prison in Florida and just based off the things I have experienced in a fully operational prison I can certainly tell you, there is no way in hell I’m walking into an abandoned prison at night. I never even believed in the paranormal before I started there but I have experienced things I just can’t explain

I’m really enjoying these older SCPs. While the outside of the prison looks fairly generic the inside reminds me of Eastern State Penitentiary, especially the cells with the single skylight. Very cool work Dr. Bob

If there is one thing Spirits don't like about visitors....it is having their deaths mocked. Though, this penitentiary is not only haunted, but is a metaphor for the idea of walking in eggshells. I mean this by the way of how this anomaly is activated, as it clearly hates unwanted guests. What's worse? The monsters now operate the asylum
These kids get what coming to them. Mocking the body counts of the asylum. I would know better at the age of 10 and that's on God. The investigator viewing evidence on a potential crime scene not even secured. He deserved it too. The moment I saw that camera I ran towards my car ASAP. And no way in hell I would come alone. I know it's just a story but I hate that about people in real life sometimes. They don't think about the potential dangers even when it's obvious.

I’m glad this is not a Scp the sad backstory, Scp what if 682 vs 173, Scp’s having a sleepover party or any of that nonsense! I don’t even watch those types of videos anymore at all! If it’s not about a new Scp or a continuation of a previous Scp that’s actually on the wiki I honestly don’t even want to watch it. The problem is that a lot and I mean a lot of Scp TH-camrs seen the “there’s no real canonicity in the Scp universe and went wild with it and started doing way too much, including Dr Bob! Even though Dr Bob only posts like two original Scp videos a month and the rest are just compilations of the same Scp’s over and over again. I’m just glad that this channel is actually posting the more unknown and obscure Scp’s again. Then they got on the “What if” type Scp stories when all people wanted was newer Scp’s instead of the same food just on a different plate, you can’t fool us. Then the compilations, the compilations are cool, they’re ok I guess. But the problem with them is that y’all don’t even have enough Scp stories to make comps with different Scp in them. Like a large majority of your comps literally have the same Scp’s over and over and over again! I am not joking at all whatsoever! Just go look at some of their videos they have some comps with the same Scp’s in them like 5 times or more! They don’t have enough content to be doing so many comps! And lastly, idk if a lot of people heard of or remember this, but at one point there was a rumor put out by someone else that this channel was stealing videos from other channels and just rewrapping it as if it were their own. Idk how true that is but man😬. Scp Explained has hundreds upon hundreds of videos where they can make multiple comps and a lot of them won’t even have the same Scp’s in them at all! Dr Bob should be the biggest Scp TH-camr on this platform! The animations are good, the narrator has a cool deep but not too deep voice, and the stories at the beginning are sometimes really really good! But they just need to continue to do newer Scps instead of jumping on the hypothetical bandwagon! I honestly (again) believe that this channel could be the greatest Scp channel on TH-cam period if they actually put in just a little bit more effort when it came to finding newer better Scp’s out there because there are some amazing Scp stories that no one has even touched yet!
