This seems like a good HT. Great that you tested for splatter, and great that it passed the test! Another video that leaves me saying...well, I actually learned some stuff!!!
Thank you for sharing the information about this new radio from Anytone. Is it superhetero or RDA or Beken with direct conversion inside? Could you disassemble it if possible, please?
Just bought mine earlier today and for the moment can't use it. I'm unable to switch to VFO, and the menú is incomplete, it's missing submenús. I wrote a email to the seller and I'm waiting for an answer. Hoping for the best.
I have never understood the attraction of "unboxing" any product. OK, once you get it out and hook it up, there can be some interest, but just getting out a boxcutter and opening? WTF?
DMR is from Motorola standards... so Japanese... that's a very dumb intro. DMR just isn't proprietary to icom or yaesu, so other makers can purchase the codec.

I am hoping the analog audio on this handheld is better than on the UV-878. The tone of the analog audio sounds weird to me.
Do you think one brand new in the box is worth $150?
USB-C doesnt mean 5V in general. With PowerDelivery USB-C can provide up to 20V and >100W
Biodegradable - put them in the sink and run the water they go away

Man I totally agree with you. Nothing of value in an unboxing. Its kinda dumb. Nothing of value.
